Good fit and protection. Viewing angle is ok for a guard with nosebar. But it makes you keep ur chin down to see better. 😂

The head gear was of good quality. Seemed like it would absorb punches well and was well built. Didn’t give me a bubble head like most of the full face protectors. I couldn’t make it tight enough to stay adequately on my head. Light pressure on the bar would tilt the headgear back and push the bar directly into my nose. If your heads a little bigger and nose a little smaller this probably won’t be an issue for you. Going to return and purchase the Loma edition and see if that is a better fit for me as that headgear has actual sizes not one size fits most. 165lbs, 5’7”, 22” circumference head To help with sizingBeen through quite a few head gears and returned. 2 rivals, fairtex, fighting sport full face with bar to name a few. Currently using fighting sports tri-tech full face headgear without the bar. Was looking for a little more nose protection. I’m a rough head to fit and tough critic. Still 5 stars even though I’m returning.

Bought this headgear after already purchasing and returned the Cleto Reyes full-protection headgear which didn't fit correctly.Padding on this headgear is far superior. Face shield bar is better. Padding absorbs more impact.Great product.

I got this Venum headgear since I plan to spar. I did a bunch of research on headgear and chose the Venum line because of their reputation and this design in particular so my nose doesn't break. The extra bar across the face is good insurance and the padding around the head also minimizes potential brain damage if you're sparring with an aggressive partner. I highly recommend this design for those wanting great protection from strikes to the nose.
