Great idea, great help.I'm an older lady with back issues and a low-seating vehicle.This gives me just the right amount of oomph to exit my car.With the bonus of a really high-beam flashlight, seat-belt cutter and emergency whistle, this was a no-brainer.

While the handle is good for assisting a normal, elderly person who needs assistance getting in and out of a car, it is not sturdy enough for a truly handicapped person.Yvonne

I bought this to extend the safety handles to a more comfortable level for my 90 y/o grandmother. She is fairly happy with the solution thus far. I have not thoroughly tested the assist grip, but the build quality seems decent and the LED is quite bright.

Strap is strong.Handle is sturdy and well-built. Flashlight is bright with multiple settings. Whistle sounds more like a kazoo, but I suppose would get the job done.
