So far, So good. This did require longer bolts and shimming the pump down off of the mounting deck. I used stainless bolts and nuts and I also used about 6 stainless fender washers to shim the pump down for good clearance. I had to disassemble to pump and rotate the inlet/outlet fittings 180 degrees so they pointed towards the front of my machine. If you have to do this be sure to do it on a level surface as to not to lose the pump oil. I spent about two hours total on this install. It came with mounting instructions and the TRV was in the box as well. Make sure you bolt this on and tighten in increments to insure the pump is square on the shaft and not in a bind.At first startup I was pleasantly surprised that it worked right away and provided excellent pressure. I have about two hours of run time on this pump and all is well at this point. I hope it lasts.

Need to give a little background for this review. I live in Trinidad and imported items are pretty expensive. Some years ago I purchased a Speed Clean, 2200 psi pressure washer with a Briggs and Stratton 4 hp engine, I paid US 500.00 for the washer it gave good service but due to age pressure dropped and eventually there was no pressure I diagnosed that it was the pump and went to the agent for a replacement. I was told that a new pump wold cost US 425.00. I went online and saw this pump for US 70.00, shipped it to my brother in Miami free and had a relative who was visiting bring it down for me.The pump bolted perfectly to my pressure washer using slightly longer bolts and a couple shims.I cannot be happier with the performance of my pressure washer now, which is even better than when it was brand new. Would recommend this product to anyone any day...I give it 5 stars out of 5...

I had an old Sears Craftsman 6.5 hp power washer (PW) I bought back in early 2000 and the pump quit producing pressure. Was thinking about throwing the PW away but decided to give this a try. I had a few areas I need to wash around the house, probably take me about 4-5 hrs and called my local tool rental place and they wanted $80 a day to rent a PW. I decided to give this a shot since it was the same price as renting. IF it worked and got one days use out of it I would break even. Well, purchased this pump, installed it. Only thing needed was a metal key (got that from the local hardware store) since my old PW pump had it welded to the old shaft. I'm sure this is not the way they do it now days with newer PW. anyway, swapped the pumps and started it up and got to work. This little pump works great and I got 2 days use out of it before I had everything cleaned up around the house. This is a great buy and would get another one in a instant it needed.I highly recommend using the power washer pump spray to store the pump. It's basically an oily spray you put in the pump to keep the seals and rubber parts preserved when storing. doing this will greatly extend the lifetime of the pump and only cost a few $, cheaper than buy a pump every few years.http://www.amazon.com/Briggs-Stratton-Pressure-Washer-Saver/dp/B0012VY200/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1405175308&sr=8-2&keywords=power+washer+pump+spray

Great replacement pump for less than 1/2 the price of OEM. Pump is a sealed unit pre-filled with oil. Pump bolted right on to my Briggs & Stratton 6HP mounted on my Generac G21 with no need for spacers or fabricating; however, it is reconfigured/pivoted 25 degrees from the original part location; therefore, the water inlet now faces the carts axle creating a clearance issue. No big deal, a little bending and elbow grease cured all. Also, as others have mentioned I had to purchase 3/16 x 1 3/4" key from ACE as my original pump had a permanently installed key attached to the sleeve. Again, no biggie. Just bring the pump with you into ACE or other home improvement store and you will find the proper key in the fasteners section usually in the slide out drawers. Key should slide right into the new pump keyway but may be snug in the motor's shaft. Gentle taps with a small hammer and piece of wood will do the trick. Product arrived with no instructions of explanation regarding the missing/needed key, installation of the pressure relief valve so don't drive yourself crazy digging through the box. Pressure relief valve simply screws into pump. Again, this is a universal fit pump so expect to run into a few annoyances you could avoid with an OEM pump at over double the cost. Well worth it IMO. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Works great.I replaced the unit from my 2100psi Generac G21. The unit fit the bolts perfectly, but it was turned 90 degrees from the original unit. This made the water hose hookup come from the rear instead of the side. This would actually have been preferable to me, except that the rear axle goes right where the water hose needs to be. I was able to bend the hose up over it, but not a perfect fit. That said, it also produces better and more consistent pressure than the previous unit. It does put the motor under a heavier load than before, but the extra pressure is welcome. One other thing, I did have to buy a shaft key from Ace Hardware. Unfortunately, there were two sizes and I bought both since I didn't measure the slot, and now I cannot remember which size it used. (sorry, that was about 6 months ago.)
