This is a very lush and extravagant duvet. It's the perfect weight for all seasons. It didn't cause any overheating while I slept using it. It's fabric is very soothing. I just wanted to stay wrapped up in it. The care instructions are very specific about how to clean this duvet and unfortunately you can't machine wash or dry clean it. Kind of stops me from wanting to use it every day. Therefore it's not a good value. If you invest in a high quality duvet like this one, daily use should be available. It looks beautiful.
