Purchase a different one wasn't that good kept falling in the center console. But this one here is 100% better has extra plastic lip too sit perfectly without falling in.

The product is exactly as shown. Personally I wish it sat just a little bit lower, but without a doubt it is far better than the standard endless void that is the stock compartment.

When ones' own mechanic starts complaining about how much crap is in your console - one needs to buy this. Works wonders in keeping stuff more organized, but it is REALLY ANNOYING to remove. Definitely not something to do while you're the one driving. But it works great and I love it.

So I purchased this months ago because I really wanted to test it out before leaving a review. I have a 2017 Ford Explorer. This console box has given me the extra organization I need for this area, and really, the Explorer should come with something like this anyway- to have a deep box with no storage option is ridiculous... Here is the thing. There have been times where I lift the lid on the console to grab something, and the storage box is cock-eyed and falling in to the console... so that's not great. There is no other fit, it goes by year of your car- so please don't comment saying I got the wrong size... it's just flimsy enough to sometimes shift inside the console and fall down. The other thing I noticed, if you put a pack of gum or your garage door opener in the wrong way, you can't close your console lid. Everything you store has to be just right, or your lid won't close. It's ok, it holds change in an organized way, and is handy- but it's not perfect...

UPDATE 1/31/2022: I recently noticed that this organizer is slipping off the "ledge" and sinking into my center counsel. I dont keep much in it so I don't believe it's being weighed down. Very unfortunate I will now need to lower my initial 5 star rating as I anticipated this to last longer than it did. I've included an additional photo to show what I mean. Maybe they need to make the lip a bit longer? Disappointed.Ok so first off, YAYY!! My center counsel was a disaster and I was always digging around trying to find things. This storage tray was exactly what I needed. I am able to easily access little things I need in my truck. Allergy pills, loose change, eye drops, gum, son's inhaler, ect. No more digging around aimlessly while driving. As you can see the change slot only accommodates quarters so I put a little piece of cardboard under the mats on the tray to cover a small opening in the slot above it for the rest of my change. I can still access my outlet which is fantastic! Heads up, does have a bit of a forward tilt to it. Pretty sure that's just how my truck was designed but again, it allows access to the outlet so it's perfect. Things still stay in place with the nice rubber mats provided.Tip: I then got 2 plastic pencil boxes (you know, those ones you get your kids for school to hold pencils, calculators, erasers ect) for below this tray and they fit perfectly below my tray! It's an organizers dream come true. Idk why I didn't think of it sooner.

Purchase was made, order was accepted and it was shipped. After all that it was not in stock and wasn’t replenished. Not a good buy in my case.

I have a 2015 Ford Explorer I recently bought used. I love the space of the center console but it is very deep and does not have any organization. I needed something that could keep frequently used items easy to grab rather than all fall to the bottom and get piled on.This insert is great....It is very sturdy and surprised me with the space it provides across all the compartments. it is well designed to hold glasses, coins, cards, and garage door openers.I especially like the removable non-slip inserts for the bottoms of the compartments.Definately recommend to buy.
