I have 5 of these now, I do trim carpentry and end up with splinters all the time. I keep a pair in the truck and am usually able to get it out on the job. Sometimes they don't get felt till later and i have to pull them at home or at the shop, hence the many pairs. Pricier than many but work better than any other i have found.
