Assembly is pretty straightforward if you have some common sence . It would be nice to have a location for the hose to sit in as well ... BUT theBiggest problem is the missing fuel float gauge item K

tank is ok. pump is trash. did not even last on full tank befor it stoped working and you cant find a replacment any where

The reviews are right. There is stuff in the bottom of the tank when you get it. I tried to fish them all out but couldn't. I ended up putting a fuel filter inline with this unit as well. I am sure glad I did. The filter collected what I couldn't get out! I am sure happy I did the fuel filter. Otherwise that crud would have ended up in my fuel tank! Be aware that the threads on this unit are fine threads. To adapt a fuel filter might require adapting fine and course threads with a rubber hose.I also found the wooden handle on the unit felt stiff. I took it off and greased it. I was worried it would brake trying to crank the pump.

Exactly as advertised in function and looksIve had Mine for 2.5 Yeats now it had been dropped out of a truck ,knocked over, hit with a tractor, rolled off a curb, and really abused overall and still works like it should. It was a little more when I bought then others but we'll worth the extra couple of bucks!

There is a YouTube video that shows this being assembled and has a few tips before use. One is to smooth the pump vanes and to seal the float where it is welded to the gage arm. I did those before use. I have no issues. The pump works great and it doesn't leak. Easy to move around. Also, it works great to suck fuel out of portable 5 gallon containers rather than using the fill port. Makes fuel transfer very clean. I am very happy with it.

When you add fuel the wheels or axles.cant.suppprt.the weight the metal bends would be great.if.it had a solid bar going right across or welded.at the bottom of the tank where the structure is.stronger

I bought his cady not to long ago, received it with no damages during shipment which is awesome considering the size and material its made of (metal, easily can dent/smash) easy to put together, instructions are not good at all, but its not like it has a million parts, if your mechanically inclined, or good with your hands , you will have no problems.I had 5, 5 gallon gas cans (25 gallons) that i had so i poured it in, all good, no leaks nothing, used it to fill my riding mower all good, then i wanted to top it off with more fuel then i started having issues. I found a pin hole leak on the top front right corner by the manual hand pump, so i had to empty some gas out so it doesn't reach that point to leak, then the fuel nozzel slid off of the hose lol Ok... the fuel nozzel is a easy fix, i pit a hose clamp on it, problem solved, now the pin hole leak, i plan to put on JB weld tomorrow, hopefully that works, but mani should not be having to do these simple fixes if it was made properly and had good QC, oh well, hopefully the JB weld works.

For just a little more money it is so much better than the large capacity plastic cans. Easy to roll around and a nice pump that allows you to pull from a can or gas tank. Great if you ever need to pull out of your vehicle for your generator. I did order a hose to slide on to the other so I could get another 10 feet for refuleing my pontoon boat while on the lift.

I got it and started assembling. Took about half an hour to get it together. During assembly I got to admire the engineering that went into their design. I did not expect something this stout and sturdy. Solid rubber wheels are bigger than they appear in the picture. It rolls along very easy empty and with a full tank I don't imagine having any issues carting it around. I haven't used the hand pump yet but plan to try it out very soon.

I am annoyed about the number of these that are flooding amazon. The prices and descriptions are all over the place, when I am sure they are all made at the same factory. I found the buying experience very confusing.The paint is simple spray paint and will scratch and chip very easily. The steel is very thin and is easily dented. The black cap does not seat very well with the threads on the container and is a bit of a pain to turn on and off. The pump does a good job of pumping, but to be fair, I attached a socket to it and use a drill to turn the pump instead of using the crank handle.If you keep it standing up it's fine with regards to leaks, but if you want to put it in the back of your truck on its side, like I did, it will leak all over.I was not pleased to see other units selling for $100 less by other vendors. Like I said, I am sure they are all made at the same place and they are using multiple accounts to maximize their profits.
