As far as these underseat subs go , it doesn't awful. Some of these under seat subs can be sketchy , especially at this price point. I'd suggest using 2 of these as they do lose their composure rather quickly but even if you buy 2 it still works out less than one from an established speaker co. Running 2 at lower gain is always better anyway And very much improves sound quality when they're less strained.This should hopefully also help longevity and stop them from running too hot. I expected worse for the price.This isn't for Civic owners who want the guy next to them to receive an organ massage from the bass but picks up nicely where set of speakers leaves off and also takes some of the low end duty away from the speakers so they don't work so hard which = better sound quality. Trim your speakers at around 80hz, set the cutoff of this sub to 80hz and it'll sound decent enough. I wouldn't really go much higher than 80hz this sub doesn't sound decent when you're tying to get 100-150hz out of it, your speakers will do that better.That 60amp fuse is a little ambitious for that wiring they include, id have included a lower value fuse if it were me so that it blows quicker in case of a short considering how thin the wiring is.

This thing actually sounds really good. I tweaked all the settings and adjusted where the placement was and I ended up with a really loud well balanced system on the cheap. I went with the cheapest new MB Quart formula 6x8s in all my doors. I am using a Pioneer AVH 120bt with just the internal amp pushing all the door speakers and I got it sounding really good. But this really helped round out the sound. The included wiring kit is nice addition too, don’t get me wrong the power and ground are a bit tiny but are more than enough for the little power this uses. It states 400 watt max but I’m sure it’s closer to 50 continuous and 100 max. The wire is thin but appears to be real copper which is a plus and is better than a thicker cca, which is what usually is given at this price point. The connectors are way to big for the wire though, luckily my install didn’t necessitate the use of them I just went straight copper looped for the ground and the amp has screw in connectors as do my aftermarket battery terminals. All in all I would recommend this whole heartedly, and I’ve had some massive systems pushing 2000-3000watts running Infinity reference inside speakers and dual 12 JBL subs at 1200 watts a piece, so I know loud and clear. This is not that system but it performs admirabley. I will purchase again might just throw 2 of these in my van as well.

Pretty decent performance for the money. I paid $46 after discount for this 8" powered sub. It definitely added some roundness to the low-end performance of my car audio system. For the money you get a complete system inclusive of power wire, fuse , RCA cable , Speaker level to line level converter etc. I would definitely recommend it. On the downside was too big to fit under the seat of my 2020 Kia Sorento (3 row) so It had to be installed in the trunk. This meant I had to get longer RCA & power cables. The included wires would suit a shorter vehicle . The build quality of the case was also surprising good (cast aluminum). If it holds up over time I have a winner.

The sub sounds great and the only minor catch is the auto turn on feature via RCA does not work and I needed to run a remote wire from the head unit.The other problem is that fact that its a fire hazard... It comes with a 60amp fuse and some of the smallest sub wire I have ever seen.. The wire will most defiantly melt before the fuse pops.

Less than $60 for a underseat sub?! I didn’t believe it. My car desperately needed some bass so I thought I’d give it a try. This thing is awesome! Very good for the price. It’s no 12” in a huge box, it has enough thump and low end for the average person, probably even more than you’d need/want. Luckily it has a remote to turn the bass down in an instant. It comes with EVERYTHING you need, wires, rcas, even a LOC in case you need it, but I used high level inputs. Good thing is with high level inputs the unit turns on/off with speaker signal, so no remote wire needed, but if you did need to run a remote wire it comes with it as well. Deff recommendIt went in a 2016 Honda Accord and fit under the driver seat perfectly
