Not a rechargeable fan, also, will not operate above 3rd speed if the USB source does not go above 1A in current.Speeds 1-5 go from around half an amp, (@ 5 volts), then with each increase in speed, the current draw goes up a bit until it reaches around 1.3 Amps at speed 5, at speed 6, the fan goes into random speed/current draw mode where it drops down to around .22 Amps, then randomly goes up and then settles in around 1.3 Amps again, or goes down again to .88 Amps?Not sure what speed 6 is supposed to be, but unlike the first 5 speeds, it does not settle on a speed along with a corresponding current draw.When plugging the fan into a 5 volt source, the display gives the impression of 100% and also initially gives a green spark on the display, (which on most fans indicates charging) yet this model never draws any current until the first speed level is selected.So, any actual charging never happens making this a USB power, (only) fan.Given that some form of fan is used internally, I believe the term "bladeless" is misleading as it merely isolates the rotating fan mechanism to avoid little curious fingers from doing anything other than perhaps knocking the fan over.Might be more inclined to use this if it was designed to be a rechargeable capable fan, as a plug-in USB only fan, not so much given the need for a high output USB source and numerous cables as USB cables tend to become less reliable over time/use when using the same USB port source.

Doesn't work unless it's plugged in all the time. Makes noise after 2nd time using it. I wouldn't recommend this. I tried to return it buy they wanted almost $13 to ship it back which I've never heard of

WOW. Tiny footprint, easy to clean, and an amazing amount of air that isn't that fff-fff-fff-fff that regular fans deliver. Oh, and it's cordless/rechargeable, which means that I can carry this from the bedroom to the kitchen to the living room - essential when my boyfriend is Mr. Chilly and wants the thermostat up to nursing home hot...

Ok, this fan is terrible. It goes up and down in speed, the plug gets burning hot and now it won’t even stay on. Do not recommend
