First of all this product should not even have one star. I followed the instructions for the construction to the letter. However some of the instructions were misleading for instance it states that two persons are needed it did not say that one of them had to be an Olympic weight lifter when part of the roof is fitted as per the instructions it is far too heavy to lift so the legs can be attached. It also does not mention that the nuts and bolts should not be tightened too much as the metal is quite soft and would buckle the frame. The main problem is the roof apart from the weight which makes the whole structure top heavy the ridges catch the rain and it does not run off this is because the ridges are horizontal and not vertical. How it would react if it was covered in snow I would not like to think. However that was not the worst of this product once up there was a slight breeze and I noticed the whole structure was swaying by 2 to 4 inches. This would certainly would be putting strain on the joints and there is no doubt in my mind that this was a very unsafe structure. I did make contact with the seller and they made me three differing offers to keep the product but I declined and stated that this should not be for sale and asked how it was passed by safety standards which I never got a reply to that question. They did eventually agree to refund me in full and decided that they did not want the product back because of the expense of logistics. I asked them if they wanted me to scrap it which they verified and that is what I did. My advice don't buy this unless you don't mind getting crushed.

Fair quality, but there is no overhang at the front and back edges of the roof. Other carports have more overhang. Tks, ds

Vevor makes great metal products. I have purchased deep socket sets and other car repair tools from them over the years and they have been top notched products at a reasonable price. This Carport is no exception. It is sturdy and well made. I purchased 2 on sale and removed one cross pole section to tie them together to make a much cheaper 10X30ft gazebo canopy. It is much taller than similar carport gazebo products with a full 10ft height. I am currently using it as a screened gazebo at the lake and it is awesome. It comes with anchor kits for wood, concrete, or dirt, so it can be used in the yard, on a deck, or concrete/asphalt pads. The roofing bolts to the roof so it can withstand 125 mile an hour winds and can take up to 10" if snow without collapsing. This is replacing two cheaper quality gazebos, one of which got mangled from 80mph winds from a hurricane, and the other got crushed from 5" of snow that we got as a fun surprise this year in Florida.

I do like the heavy covering. With the cover placed center point with the frame, the bungicords fit the left side but didn't reach the right side - was too far to attach the bungee cords. The leg parts with #3 on them use bolts and nuts (not mentioned anyplace in the instructions). To put the bolt through 4 of the 8 legs my husband had to drill out the second hole. One leg required some reconstruction back to a round form. If you plan on securing the shelter, buy Shelter Logic anchors for the 4 corners and bolt the legs to a wood frame. The childs tent stakes included would not even go into the ground without bending.
