I was extremely happy with this set, especially for the price. Has everything you need to get into distillations.The set itself quality-wise is great, nice tough glass, have heated it several times in sand bath with no issues. The fittings are all well ground and even, the actual units are of the correct shape and all function great. The plastic neck locks wear out eventually, but I consider those somewhat of a consumable anyways.Much as I like this set, I have not yet managed to turn any lead (or anything else for that matter) into gold. Shall keep trying.

The first distillation I attempted, with a ring stand, asbestos mat, and a bunsen burner the single neck flask Cracked half way through, the second time I attempted another distillation using the three neck as a boiling flask, on a known good heating mantle, and it cracked too. The other pieces all seem good but I've never had a beaker or flask made from 3.3 Boro Crack like this. I am very disappointed in the product itself. The cost was very reasonable but we all know how the saying goes",you get what you pay for".

Habe dieses set bestelltbund beim Transport ging das Thermometer kaputt und öeider hatte die kolone ein loch (war dem Herstellungsprozess geschuldet)Sowas darf prinzipiell nicht passieren aber vor der ersten Destillation die sachen gecheckt und das eben bemerkt. Support angeschrieben und prompt ein fast vollständiges set zusätzlich geschickt bekommen. Klar das sind keine HQ glasapparate aber für den preis war das auch zu erwarten jedoch genau für diesen günstigen Preis ist hier sehr viel enthalten.

This multi-component works well. The glass ware is a little thicker, which is great and lasts longer than its other components.
