Plugged in to motor, turned on, started smoking and burning immediately. Made a loud pop noise then completely died. The fan still worked but the ESC was fried.

These worked for a bit but I had two of my three completely lose reverse. The reverse Half Bridge must have burnt up. I have motors that usually draw 40a at full power so I think the ratings they have listed are peak numbers and not continous.

Seemed to have great specs, cooling fan, up to 16 volts. I needed them for a 12v battery, and 550 brushed motor. I purchased 4, the first one just flashed the LED's and was otherwise lifeless, the tge second one burned up after a few minutes opwrating eith no load. The 3rd burnded up almost instantly leaving an acrid fog stinking up the house. I'm afraid to try the 4th unit. Extremely disappointed. Save your money the odds are not good with this product.

Yes it worked, yes it Burt up. This unit I believe is rated up to 16 volts and I knowingly supplied 18 volts. I figured if the voltage was too high it would cut power, however it caught fire instead. I’m not mad because I dove into this with the intentions of excessive voltage. It did work for about 3 minutes. Your results should be better than mine if used as intended. It took out my servo also… but again my fault.
