Mounted these to by mountain bike for hunting. They easily can be removed when not needed and the clamps aren't huge or in the way when they are off. We'll see how they hold up to abuse over hunting season.

When you open the box and inspect the product, information and installation parts I believe you'll understand why this product is a little more costly than others. The installation instructions are clear, informative, easy to follow and not micro-print. The installation too 10 minutes total [5 minutes longer than expected due to the fact that holes on my ATV rack needed to be enlarged by 1/16" inch]. Solid feel, east to install - 5 Stars for this ATV Tek VFGH V-Grip Rider Handlebar Rack !!

I use these in the front handlebars of my mountain bike to hold my compound bow as I trek miles back into public land to hunt mature bucks. Holds my bow like a rock and allows plenty of clearance for my arms and the basket on the front of the bike. Also, it does not alter the acuracy of the sight pins because the grips cushion the bow and gives with the bumps on the trail.

Have used mutiple mounts in the past and love the way this hold my guns without scratching or vibrating while riding over rough terrain. I use these on my front rack as obviously handle bar mounts have their advantages and drawbacks. The mounts are very adustable and I am very happy they came with the rubber straps that some other don't. It was easy to configure the mount to carry a large caliber bolt action, shotgun and different AR lengths all in the same place on my rack. I like being able to unscrew the mounts if I need to throw something on the rack. Stayed tight after long rough rides and didn't even mark the FDE finish on my shotgun. Will only buy these in the future.

Since I really didn't like the idea of my shotgun high up on the handlebars on my ATV I set them up on the rear of the front rack. Installation was easy and the only hard part was deciding where each V-Grip would go so that the shotgun was centered on the machine. V-Grip is an accurate description on how well it holds my shotgun. Unless you're going to do some "Hey Ya"ll watch this" kind of stunt the gun is gripped so well it pretty much stays put without the rubber keepers during easy driving. For the most part one keeper at the receiver does the trick.

I bought this hoping to use it for holding my rifle inside a soft case during ATV trips to the blind and back. The opening is too small to accommodate the rifle and case without radical modification. The holding strap broke on first use.

These seem to be well made. The only thing I don't like are the rubber snubbing straps. The grips are adjustable every way and should hold just about any gun. They are very light and wont last long.

Bracket kept vibrating loose on handle bars resulting in me having to try to hold in place while driving. I did not have a lot of room left on my bars for a square fit. I was disappointed to say the least.

I've owned many types of gun racks for my ATV, never had considered a handlebar mount until I saw this one. Mounted it and put a gun in it. Put many types of guns in it; thumbhole stocked short barrels, OBR, AR15 20", AR15 16" with 30 round clip. They all fit and all rode great while protecting the optics. The best part, you don't even have to stand up to grab the gun and to shoulder it for that quick shot at a spooked-up coyote!
