This is my 4th VHC quilt and I love them all! The Annie Portabella (I got the brown; VHC also makes it in blue) is sturdy, comfy, and soft. It has actual sewn squares -- plus all-cotton construction/filling - - a must for me to avoid that detested over-heating from polyester and microfiber stuff.The quilt is so darn pretty, yet not what I'd call overly girlie, and its varying colors and patterns (stripes, floral, checkered, all on a creamy, off-white background ) make an interesting and even rather neutral palette that plays really well with lots of bedding I already have.I got the Queen for my full size bed, and it generously drapes over the sides of a 13" deep mattress + 3" latex topper + 1" feather bed. Total effect? Like sleeping in a cool, breathable cloud. If you're on the fence - I think this quilt is a winner!
