Ran across some old VHS-C tapes awhile back. That camera is long gone, but I still had an old VHS machine in storage. This thing was just the ticket to get that video transferred to digital. I hooked up the VCR to my computer via a capture card and used this adapter to play the tapes on the VHS machine. Worked like a charm. Very happy with it.

I was really excited to stumble across this product. Our first “video camera” from about 35 years ago used VHS- compact tapes. The camera came with a playback cassette to use in your VCR. Several years ago I discovered that the playback cassette was ruined from sitting around for years with the batteries still inside it. I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be able to watch the recordings again (we have held on to an old VHS recorder/player for years - but it can’t play VHS-C tapes without an adapter).Thrilled to have this and the now have the opportunity to show my grandkids some of those videos of their daddy as a baby!Easy to use, reasonably priced.

I've been looking for one of these that is of good quality that doesn't eat the vhs tapes and this one is it! It gabs rhe tape nice and smooth and plays very well. It's motorized which I like a lot and the price was better than I've seen on other sites. It's easy to use and now I can start to transfer all my vhs tapes on to dvd finally!

This item is very good but I would start by pointing out that it is purely for VHS-C tapes. It is clearly adverrtised as that, put it doesn't hurt to remind people. The item shipped extremely quickly and the packaging protect it very well.The quality of the unit is very good, and gives me access to recordings that I haven't seen in many years. It is very simple and straightforward to use and the pleasure of seeing the old recordings is priceless. It is simple and intuituitive to use.In an ideal world the produce would take all compact sizes, but the engineering and design needed for that would make it prohibitable expensive.The offer price for the quality of the item and the access it provides to memories makes it a great buy, it does what it is meant to do and I cannot fault it.
