This product will not work on an import Bigsby. The shaft set screw is at the wrong point and would have to be redrilled to accommodate the part. I have a beautiful, great playing, Black Chibson SG with gold hardware and a Bigsby. I was really hoping it would work. All that said, the part is way overpriced for what it is. To me, $15 would be plenty to pay for it. (it ought to be Gold plated for $50 !) . Thanks for reading. . .

If you use a Bigsby and change your own strings you owe it to yourself to get one of these! My first experience with a Bigsby came with my brand new Gretsch Chet Atkins Tennessean model in 1967. I learned early on about the eccentricities of the unit and what a pain re-stringing is. This simple little idea is ingenious. Why did it take so long to figure out? Changing strings on a Bigsby equipped guitar is now much easier than most anything else.

Great product. While you can get better at changing strings on a Bigsby equipped guitar, it is still a hassle compared to other tailpieces. The Vibramate makes it easy as any other stop type tailpiece. It is small enough compared to the rest of the unit that you don't really notice it is there after a while.

I love it. Perfect . Fast shipping. In my oppinion its highly recomended for bigsby users.It changed my life : ) on stage or wherever you are its quiet easy to change strings with no trouble. It was taking around 20 minutes . now it takes 5 minutes and extremely less efford .

Works as advertised. Overpriced as all get out, though. You could probably hire someone with a machine shop to build you one cheaper. That said, it makes string changes about 874% easier, and 537% faster. Save your pennies. Order it.
