Exactly as advertised. Easy to weld with both mig and tig. The wall is reasonably thick so exhaust noise should be kept down.

I was initially very impressed with this exhaust pipe. However no exhaust shop in the area was willing to work with it. Very few exhaust shops can bend 3" stainless steel tubing. The one shop I found who could refused to work with this pipe because the gauge was too thin. This is 16 gauge tubing, which pretty much necessitates a mandrel bender for proper bending without any kinks. I ended up returning this tubing and buying 14 gauge tubing from the exhaust shop instead, which they were able to bend without kinking. Turns out buying the shop's pipe was cheaper, too, even though it was T-302 stainless and thicker.

This is good stuff, looks nice comes well packaged. It is shiny. It is everything you could want in 5 feet of 3 inch stainless steel tubing.That said, you will need more than 5 feet to do most exhaust systems. I have a 2007 Mini Cooper I am building a custom exhaust for, and I needed about 7 feet worth.Also get a 24 tooth hacksaw for cutting this.
