Love how fast this stick is. I'm a beginner and like how the barrel tip bounces so nicely on the cymbals. Only bad point is that they are not durable. Have not had one break off but the tips chip off and lose their shape. The Dave Weckl stick is heavier but the tips seem to last a bit longer. Cheers
