Purchased this tree to replace getting a real tree every yr. Liked this alpine look instead of a full out tree. Nice realistic touch with the real wood trunk. Once it is set up just bend the branches to your liking and install your lights. I used the micro mini lights as they look best and if you take your time you can hide all of that fine copper wire used in the micro lights. If you use the micro lights make sure you get a string with at least150 lights to get enough lights on the tree. I don’t take lights off I just leave them on and carefully store the tree in a tree bag until next season. Lots of compliments on the tree for being realistic. Recommended purchase.

This works well for houses with cats because the branches start high. It takes a lot of effort to fluff the branches and I removed the weird single dried vine wrapped around. The top part requires a hole be drilled in the wood and I still had to shim it as well as shim the bottom trunk and base plate. The trunk is a hideous stain which I need to paint over next year. This is a tree for smaller ornaments; it will not support heavy ornaments or tree toppers. Despite all the drawbacks, it is inexpensive AND it survived the holiday season with cats so I guess it’s a win.

I bought the 3' tall one. There are no problems. The 3 pieces fit together fine, no drilling needed. I found it was easier to place it, once assembled, onto a table top and sit down on a chair and take my time pulling out the branches to "fluff" it up. It looks really nice and the same as in the listing picture. The vines come off easily by cutting, if you don't want them. The pine cones add a lot to the look of it as far as what I wanted. There is room and it is strong enough if one wants to add lights or decorations. It did take a little while to get here, traveling through at least 8 storm-ravaged states, but the shipping cost was reasonable and it was worth the wait.

I purchased 2 other Vickerman pine trees prior to this one. A larger one and a smaller one. The reviews were mixed on them but I found them to be fine fornthe.money paid. This one however was really awful. The whole drilled in the bottom of the trunk for the metal base was crooked and so the tree stands lopsidedThe hole is also larger than the base so it wobbles as well. In addition, the hole drilled for the top piece is too shallow so the top piece does not go down onto main trunk far enough so it wobbles also. The only reason I kept the tree is because I felt like I could redrill the holes and straighten it up.

Bought this for part of our backdrop for winter family photos and it worked great! And now I'm using it as part of our holiday decor. Based on reviews I was expecting it to be sparse, but once "fluffed" it was very full looking and fit the rustic/farmhouse look. It fits have a dried brown vine wrapped around it, but that adds to the rustic look. I did hit glue the base on, since it fell off every time I picked it up. Overall very happy and a good price for the size compared to local ones in store.

I'm really surprised why anyone would give this tree anything other than a 4 or 5 stars ... unless they didn't read a detailed description first. I bought a 3 ft and 4 ft for my tiny house loft and am very satisfied. They are rustic, realistic looking, woodsy and ever so slightly whimsical looking. I actually love the small vine that runs through it ... although it can be easily removed. Both of mine are straight and fit perfectly on the base. The only potential issue is TIME ... I probably spent over 1.5 hrs to unbox, assemble, shape and arrange both trees ... lots of shaping! The end product ... especially for the price ... was just what I wanted. My tiny house is very rustic and cabin-like, so a traditional, full artificial tree would not do. These little trees fit the bill and had all the essential qualities that I was looking for. As they say ... a picture is worth a thousand words. Enjoy!

This is what I wanted, a skinny artificial tree where the branches start higher up. I have the 6 foot, unlit version. The branches start at 26 inches from the floor. The good parts- it's attractive, small width so doesn't take up a lot of space. The branches are not right close together so I can have more ornaments visible instead of just laying on the outside of the tree. The not perfect parts- when I opened the box and took it out pine cones immediately started falling off. They are wired so I could put them back on, but don't think that should have happened. There is a split in the fake wood trunk, not visible with the branches and I'm sure a live cut tree might have that too- not a huge deal. The stand is very small so will have to put it in a conainter and place rocks in to keep the tree from falling over. The directions were for a totally different tree LOL but it's very easy to figure out.It's what I wanted, for a good price. I'm overall satisfied and glad I got it.

This picture is quite misleading. The tree is wrapped in a brown “ vine” ... I certainly saw no such strange thing in the picture. It creeps up from the base tp the top of it oddly and splinters in places. I suppose that’s supposed to look rustic? I cut it off of mine immediately. It was messy and damaged. There are copious pine cones throughout the tree and between the top tier and the mid section it’s absolutely bare revealing a lot of hot glue. The branches cannot be bent to obscure that. If you plan to use MANY ornaments and truly disguise all this... you’ll make due as I did. But had I had another week to plan... I would have sent this back immediately.
