This is my third phone holder for my e-bike. The first phone holder I had constantly needed to be tightened and wouldn't stay in place. No matter how much I tightened the screw, it would eventually loosen up, and the weight of the phone would cause it to drop. I was always worried that it would come off the bike when I was riding, so I gave up and took it off. The next one was more promising. It completely enclosed the phone and could be easily removed. The case was waterproof and shaded the sun. You could even store a key and credit cards inside the zippered section. However, it was so big that it interfered with my gear shifter. I finally removed it and gave it to a friend because it was just too big.I ordered this case because I liked the way it attached to the handlebars. It seemed like it would stay in place, and it had a smaller footprint. When I received the phone holder, it literally exceeded my expectations. What I didn't realize when I ordered it was it had a switch on the back that actually locks the phone grips in place, so once your phone is in the holder, it won't open. Genius!! I also really like that the phone holder is fully enclosed around the handlebar. It tightens with a knob rather than a screw, and once on, it does NOT move!! Uggghhh....finally, no movement!! I also really like that holder has silicone grips at the corners, so it really holds your phone well. It's also super easy to move the phone so that you can use it vertically or horizontally, and you don't have to loosen the case. You can actually change it while riding, although it's probably safer to do it while you're stopped, lol. If you're looking for a phone holder, this one is for you!!

This phone holder is extremely easy to install. It is absolutely sturdy and the locking mechanism ensures that your phone will not come loose. Simple one-handed operation to open and close. The grips on the inside of the slides hold your phone tight. I have one of the larger phones out on the market and this holds it absolutely perfectly with a little bit of room to spare. Can be used with or without cases. Also the bottom of it has the open spot so you can charge your phone while it's being held in this phone holder. But the install is absolutely simple. Just place it where you're wanting it and twist it until it's tight. It will not slide it will not rotate and it will not move once it is locked on. This thing is flawless

The packaging itself describes it is for a bicycle, which may be the only thing I would attach this to. I got it for my dirtbike and it was a hard pass. The plastic and way it's made is not sturdy enough that I could rely on it. I had difficulty putting the tightening ring on after having inserted the ball support into it. It threaded on fine without it, but once inserted, made it very difficult to find the starting thread and tighten. I tightened it as best I could, and it still didn't seem enough.One fall where this holder is involved and I doubt it would survive, so it would really only be useful for casual riding, nothing that takes you anywhere at risk.It hold a small phone just fine, and releases easily enough on purpose, and the locking mechanism works well, but that's as much good as I can say about it.

This mount is really easy to install, and feels very secure on the handlebars. The phone holder has a locking switch on the back so theres no way your phone is going to bounce out. The housing is a little bulky visually, but overall this is a great phone mount!
