This is my go to knife for vegetable preparation. The knife is sharp and fits nicely in my hands. I'm 6'4". While not great at crushing garlic, it slices onion, celery, potatoes and other vegies with ease.

the best paring knives. I've been using them for 45 years, but could only purchase them while traveling in Switzerland. Or by contacting my friend who lives there. Then I found them at a local knife store in St. Louis, and finally I found them in the US through Victorinox Co. And this year through Amazon. They are the best, I usually give them to friends at Christmas. anywhere from 1 knife to 6, cause they are so cheap and last forever, The serrated knives you cannot resharpen, but the straightedge can be sharpened. Everyone loves them. You won't be sorry.

Bought 3 and they hold an edge very well. Dishwasher safe. Pretty colors that don’t fade in the dishwasher. Stays sharp. Use them regularly and haven’t had to sharpen them yet.

Sharpen this jewel and it’s about as handy as it gets. Can be sharpened to a seriously sharp edge. If you ever watch Deadliest Catch- a crewmember was headed overboard because the rope was tangled around his feet. His partner grabbed this knife from his hip and with one swipe cut the rope and saved his friend. Pretty good endorsement if you ask me.

J'apprécie particulièrement les couteaux et épluches légumes de la marque Victorinox car ils sont vraiment de qualité, durables, ergonomiques et leur tranchant est parfait.Ce couteau d'office ne déroge par à la règle, le: fil de la lame est impeccable or quand on a mal aux mains comme moi, on apprécie en cuisine de pouvoir couper et trancher sans devoir forcer !!!Il résiste au passage en L.V sans soucis.Son coloris rouge permet de bien le repérer dans un tiroir et parmi les épluchures ce qui évite de le jeter par mégarde ;-)J'en ai 4 en tout car je suis devenue une fan de ce couteau d'office tant il est " top" préparer avec efficacité à manger au quotidien.A 3.30 € c'est un couteau au bon rapport qualité prix et je le conseille à tous les cuisiniers qui veulent s'équiper en matériel de qualité.A bon entendeur, bonne cuisine à tous :-))
