This is an outdated camcorder which is reminiscent of the 1990's. I felt like I was transported back in time. The video quality is just super basic, the audio is okay up close but not great from a distance. The zoom function is terrible, you press the button and it jumps forward to the image like a jittery bug. There is no lens cap or shutter to protect the lens, just a velvet bag.I could not use Windows 11 to open the video I did take, it won't work with Windows Audio, the memory card is formatted to a AVI file and I was not able to convert to MP3 the only way I could open it was to use Microsoft Clipchamp, which you need to pay a subscription to if you want to edit the video, no thanks. It came with two adapters, one long one which you would insert the USB cable in to charge it, this does not fit Australian power points, the second small plug does fit the Aussie power point but is not an adapter, I have no idea what it is for, the only way for Aussies to charge this is by using the USB cable to your PC, you can check out my attached photos. The battery compartment has a fragile tiny clip that holds the battery in place, can't see that lasting very long. The only good thing about this is that it felt okay to hold, the colour of this camcorder is pleasant and it did record video. This is not worth your money unless you want this for as a toy for a child to play with.

For the very casual user like me, there are several positive features that make this useful but this may not appeal to a buyer looking for something higher end and/or advanced. Not having a lot of knowledge of video recorders, this is mostly based on the fact that the device I received has a typo/misspelling of the Power button. I don't like to dismiss a product by what looks to be an error, but if I was purchasing as a serious, frequent user, I'd question the quality. Before I continue, one will want to take into consideration that this is the first actual video recorder I've had since they were bigger than your head and had to rest on your shoulder. I think this may be the first device that was specifically for video recording that I've used since the 90's.As an amateur and casual user, even with the typo, I'm very happy with it. There are quite a few options to learn so it could be all I need or if this became a favorite hobby, a stepping block to more advanced cameras. The device is super light and fits my hand perfectly, where there's no tightening or stretching of the fingers. That's not something I'd ever even considered in the past but now that I've used this I realize how uncomfortable my regular cameras, phone, and similar electronics have been. Ends up, that comfort may impact the quality as well. My videos are much more stable with this than my phone. (S22 Ultra)The clips I've recorded so far have been very clear with excellent sound. However, not knowing how good they can really be, my vision of excellent could be different than someone who uses them every day. I'd compare the quality to my digital camera or phone but as I've mentioned, I'm more steady with this and that seems to to make a big difference by itself.I'm rating this four stars for my personal use. The typo is a red flag for sure, but I'd think not so much for a new user on a tight budget or even kids, if you can fix or explain the misspelling.

This would be a great first video camera for a kid, but the picture quality means that a phone camera would produce a better video 90% of the time. Mine also did not come with the memory card, instead coming with 2 batteries, which while useful, meant that it could not be used until I purchased a separate memory card!

As the price tag suggests, this isn't a high end video camera. It's a basic CMOS sensor, equivalent to a smartphone camera, webcam, or dashcam. The audio quality isn't great unless you're close up, which is fine because it's resolution isn't great, it's not ideal for low light, and the digital zoom isn't worth mentioning. All that being said though, if you want a basic camera to play around with, or for the kids to do some vlogging with, this camera is perfect for the job at a fantastic price. It's simple to use. The controls and options are easy to master, and it comes with everything you need to start recording, straight out of the box. Speaking of what comes out of the box, I'm a bit disappointed with the non-AU plug on the charger. Yes, an adaptor is included, but both the charger and the adaptor are so sketchy looking, and the adaptor didn't fit the plug properly, so I just binned them both. Fortunately it's a USB C charging cable so it's fine, though I wouldn't recommend plugging this device into a PC to charge it, as it may pull too much current and damage the USB port.

This is an incredible video camera, especially for the price point! While yes we always have our phones on us in this day and age, it is so nice to have something to take home videos on. It’s small and compact but the image and video quality is incredible. It comes with 2 batteries and an SD card. My daughter loves the color. She’s 17 so she’s been taking fun aesthetic videos for her social media. It’s easy to upload right into her MacBook and edit from there. I love that the screen folds out to see what you are filming, and I like that it flips to the front of you want to take video of yourself for any reason. If you need a video camera, this is the camera you need!

This isn't the best camera for vlogging. You aren't going to get the same video or audio quality as the more expensive ones. The audio especially. It might be redeemed if you could attach a mic to it but I don't think you can. It does fit on a tripod or selfie stick. It doesn't zoom out a lot so you either need to be full face in the frame, up close to pick up your audio or have it set up 10 feet away from you but horrible audio. Maybe a good camera for b roll without sound?

This is really easy to set up and use. I love how lightweight it is, making it so easy to carry with me. The enclosed manual makes it simple, and transferring the files to my computer couldn't be any easier. I was just given a project that needed a video camera, so this will be really helpful for my project. After that, I'm sure it will just be a LOT of fun!

Tried this the next day after charging...high rez is jittery...Two batteries and a memory chip... After reading the manual, the ideas were very straight forward.Nice and easy to use... many options for use. Easy to function and the image is decent.Seems very small.... Nice to use a c plug for charging. If you insert the battery correctly it does fully charge...(Tiny little tab to stay the battery in place)Seems like it is a toy... but very functional. much more compact than what us adults are used to seeing as a video recorder or image saving device.
