I use it for evening video calls. It has three settings of lighting.The screw connection to connect onto the laptop is a bit flimsy.= and doesn't tighten up too well

So word of caution, don’t trust this and leave it plugged in, if you’re not using it.It works well, produces a nice level of light which can be adjusted including between warm and ice white.However, the quality isn’t great. The plug gets fairly hot, can fizz when plugging in or taking out and the light will flicker if you knock the cable. So as long as you only use it when you need it and keep it unplugged the rest of the time, it works fine.

I’m always a bit wary about buying electronic products from unknown brands on Amazon. This one has just arrived and seems great.It has 3 tone/colour settings and a range of brightness for each. More powerful than I expected for something powered by USB.The build quality is ok but to be fair, the appearance really doesn’t matter. I’ve tested it with Zoom and it definitely improves things. I’ve been sat in a dark corner for two years so I’m sure the people on my video calls will be pleased.The screen clip is a good size to neatly go around my laptop screen camera, although it covers a bit of the screen. It doesn’t fit my wife’s external camera but it can sit next to it on the monitor. A tripod is included too.If you’re after a simple ring light to improve video meetings, this should be ideal. It’s a fair price for what it is. I doubt the light from more expensive ring lights would be noticeably different for my needs.
