Order this lamp on February 1, 2021..it actually was brighter than the original bulb and it felt like I had a brand new projector.. But that quality was short lived... The bulb died all of a sudden no warning. Had to return it... I'm trying another brand, wish me luck...!!!

This product worked properly for our ViewSonic PA503W projector. We’re very happy with this ViewSonic replacement product.Additional experience before this purchase:We tried just replacing just the lamp (without a new assembly) and it (the other product from another seller) had very poor viewing quality by comparison. It is possible that the other product we tried was a lesser product than it claimed to be (and it was NOT from ViewSonic), but that product’s description wasn’t overly specific either.I should have known to just buy ViewSonic first. It would have saved time and effort despite the slightly lengthy shipping time (which I expected to some degree at time of purchase). Will buy again to have a backup on hand for next time.
