This is a really good mug for anyone who loves Viking culture. It’s bigger than I expected, not too heavy, but you can definitely feel its weight. The ornament and pictures on the mug are in a Viking style, though they’re pretty standard.When I filled it to a comfortable level (about 1/2 inch from the top), it held slightly more than 500 ml (18 ounces). So, it's a bit less than advertised, but still a decent amount for your drinks.I gave it to my son, who’s very into Vikings. He was thrilled, so I definitely recommend it!

First off, this is a pretty good sized mug. The detail is really nice and well done. The body of the mug is made of a resin, though you wouldn't know by looking at it. There is a stainless steel insert for your favorite beverage. There are no care instructions with it, but looking it over, I would stick with hand washing it. I wouldn't take a chance with the heat from a dishwasher. Overall, it is a really nice piece and would make a great gift, which is exactly what mine is going to be used for.
