This is the third one of these I've bought. The last one held up for five years and I wash the car once a week. Super soft and more absorbable than any other drying cloth I've tried. That's my 2013 Genesis purchased in July 2012. This towel is well worth the price!!!

This is a fantastic towel. It really does a great job of holding in all the water, although I do use a squeegee for my windows, the rest of it I use the towel. There are no labels or harsh edges that can scratch clear coats. Some other reviewers commented that the towel was stiff, I don't know what they got in the mail because it's not what I got apparently. My towel is nice and soft. I have not one complaint.Update-7/30/18- I recently purchased a Meguiars waffle weave towel because it was a lightning deal and most of the reviews were pretty good. It is half the size of this Viking towel. At its normal price, almost $4 more then this towel, that is corporate greed. The Meguiars also had a tag attached which luckily I spotted and tore off before it scratched the hell out of my paint.Needless to say after using and washing the Viking multiple times, I'm still very pleased with it and I wish I would have just gotten a second one instead. Economically this is definitely the way to go....and no tags.

The towels pill and unthread extremely easily. Threads started to come loose and bunch up on the towel after using it the first time drying my car, and bits of the towel even got stuck on the paint surface of my car. Not sure what's up with that. Might be one of those cases where I got what I paid for, which isn't very much. Washed and promptly returned, don't waste your money on these.

For the price, I can't complain about anything. It is larger than the super suck'r I bought and 1/3 the price. I used this for the first time drying my BMW e92 and mazda 3. I don't know if it was because the weather warm, but I only needed to this one towel to dry my car completely. Even if I needed two of these, it's worth it. I can just use one to remove most of the water and a second one to completely dry the car. If you car isn't well waxed and water doesn't sheet or head, your results may vary. The material is pretty thin, but it does hold a lot of water. I have no issue tossing into washer and dryer. I use vinegar as my fabric softener and dry on low or medium. This did snag on both my cars, more than once. So just be careful around any corners. Other than that, would definitely buy again. Could also be useful in buffing my kitchen island also.

This Viking Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel is a decent size, measuring large enough to easily dry a freshly washed car or medium sized SUV. If you are looking for a towel that is able to dry a large SUV, large van, or a truck, this towel may suffice, but you may find that it will become relatively wet as you go along, as it is not the thickest microfiber drying towel that I have ever used. Although relatively thin, measuring around 0.5-0.75 inches thick, this towel has a very nice waffle weave texture and is moderately soft.Unfortunately, this towel does snag quite often, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The first time that I used this towel to dry my SUV, I went relatively slowly down the panels of my vehicle to avoid snagging the towel on the corners of my vehicle. While this did prevent most of the snagging, it also extended the amount of time that it took me to dry off my car compared to other microfiber drying towels. The second time that I used this towel, I dried the car as I do with other towels and I did notice an increase in the amount of times that the towel snagged on the vehicle. Throughout the drying process, the towel snagged about 10 times, primarily on the corners of the panels on the car: the corners of the hood, the doors, and the trunk. Most of the snags were minor and did not affect the product, but I did encounter one larger snag that pulled around 2 inches of the fiber from the towel.I have not experienced any trouble in laundering this towel. I typically wash the towel in hot water with a mild detergent and it seems to adequately cleanse the towel. I always air dry my microfiber towels, and follow with a very low tumble dry as necessary. This towel does hold quite a lot of water in it, so it takes a significant amount of time to dry (2-3 days, from my experience) after washing.Overall, a very good value for the price, but do keep in mind that if you use this often, you will probably be replacing it after a short period of time due to the many snags. 4/5 stars.

This towel works very well. Doesn't leave any streaks behind like all the per towels I've used before. It also wipes away so much more and absorbs much better than other products that are similar in size. Size wise it's a couple times larger than your average shammy. For my smaller car I can easily dry the whole car pretty quickly with just one towel. I actually use two of these things when drying my larger Jeep but thats just for preference.one thing to note- I agree with other reviews too at it does snag easy if it gets caught. So be careful. Once it gets a snag, a thread will become loose but it is still usable. This is something to consider if you thing a loose thread here or there will bother you.

I typically use Griots Garage car care products because I always know they will be high quality. But I couldn't bring myself to pay $20 or $25 for a drying towel, so I decided to try this one. I don't think I could be happier with it.For most of my adult life I've used chamois (natural or syn) to dry cars. This is so much better. Absorbs more water, leaves nothing behind, doesn't get stiff, and easier to wash. The towel ends up getting pretty heavy by halfway through the drying process because it retains so much water. But you squeeze it out and it sucks up more. Kind of amazing. I use spray-on wax before drying the car off, and there were no complications in using this towel.Others have mentioned the possibility of snagging on corners and such. I can see how that would be a possibility, but that didn't stand out to me to be a problem or concern. I did not check the towel closely, though, to see if it shows any snags.
