For 25 bucks I expected more then a plastic home depot cover. push button not included. This is a 3 dollar item at any hardware store

Would hav preferred that it came in white rather than beige. Does come with a weather resistant gasket.

I'm so happy with this! I had a door release button and buzzer. I wanted to replace the button and wallplate as they were caked in nasty old paint. The flimsy electric wire to the buzzer broke just because I opened the wallplate. I couldn't find a replacement part. I contacted 10 different repairmen and they only wanted to replace the entire system for all 8 apartments in my building! After refusing to work on it, they also refused to explain how the wiring worked and claimed no replacement parts were available. Well, buzzers operating in the 16-19 vac range certainly are available and this product let me replace the whole wallplate. The internal thickness is so slender, I was able to throw out all the old parts and put a new small buzzer into the single gang box and cover with this panel. It works wonderfully and I'm doing the happy dance every time I look at it!
