I used this straight out of the box, without washing it first. I washed my black (IYKYK) car and dried it with this towel. It got it perfectly clean and shiny and there was absolutely no lint left behind. My normal car wash routine is to use two of the smaller, thinner microfiber towels. I'll keep wringing out the first one, then use the dry one to finish, to avoid streaks. With this towel, I only used it, and it worked beautifully.It's definitely much larger and thicker (and heavier) than any car wash towel I've used before, so I wasn't sure how I'd like it, but it worked great!My only minor quibble would be the price, but I think it's safe to say I will get years of use out of this, if not the rest of my life. As mentioned in the title, it has a very premium look and feel to it, and appears to be solidly made, so hopefully it will last a long time. I will update my review if I have any issues after washing and drying it a few times.I would recommend this towel if the price fits your budget.

Finally a towel that can dry my whole car. This one has just enough absorbancy to clean a full size sedan. It's very soft and doesn't scratch the paint. Cleaning is easy in the washer as well.

This towel is perfect to wash your own car in the driveway. I have washed my cars myself in the driveway for 10 years now, so i've gone through a number of higher quality drying towels. This thing is by far the nicest one I've ever owned. This towel is very thick, I was able to dry my entire car with it and the towel still had some dry spots left on it. The material is a higher quality microfiber type and is very soft. I think if you take good care of this towel, wash it gently and DO NOT use high heat on the dryer. The less heat the better, you do not want to burn the microfiber ends. I'm very happy with this towel. It works great!

I’ve seen these online for months and wanted to give one a try.It dries the car quickly. Just open it up, lay it on the hood or wherever and run it over the car. No need to rub back and forth for ages. It absorbs a ton of water.When it comes to washing between uses my wife says the dryer said no way. She is air dry is where this is at.This is a good addition to the home car wash kit.

I have tried a ton of chamois to attempt to get at something that helps me adequately dry my SUV in a short period of time. Most materials just wipe the water around until it air dries and you end up wiping the same spots over and over again to get water spots off. Not with this towel! It's so large that I can dry my whole hood in two wipes and it sucks the water straight off the car, trapping it instead of wiping it around. It's also easy to wring out when it gets supersaturated, which takes a while because it's so thick. It's really easy to use, works fantastically, looks good and makes handwashing cars measurably quicker and more enjoyable. It's a little more expensive than you might find from other chamois, but you get what you pay for in terms of time back in your day and less hassle. The only negative I've found is that because this towel is so large, you have to watch out when using it to avoid dragging it along the ground and picking up dirt. To me, that's a small price to pay for the drying power of this towel. It's fantastic and I'm never using another chamois again!

This VIKING V+ microfiber towel is really impressive. The size, 24 by 36 inches, is generous and makes drying the entire car much more efficient. What stands out the most is how absorbent it is; it seems to soak up water incredibly well. I pretty much refuse to take a nice car through and automated car wash,(search on car wash damage and you'll never do it again) so drying my car after washing is part of the process for me. Living in dry Az, I need to dry the car pretty efficiently or I'll end up with water spots. This towel is nice; it is thick so it holds a lot of water and gets the job done. Very soft as you would want if you care enough to hand wash your vehicle. It does take a bit for it dry out after you use it but that's the price for it holding a lot of water, so I don't consider that a fault but rather an indicator of just how well it works.. For a larger sedan or medium size SUV, the size is just right. If you have a full-size truck or large SUV, you might want to grab two.
