Really good lens! I have quite a few Z lenses with Z8 and Z6. This new Viltrox lens is just as good but at a very competitive price. Viltrox has come a long way. Very happy with my 2024 Christmas present.

Outstanding lens, but itโs very large and heavy. I wish it was smaller and lighter, but very impressive and lots of features that you do not get with a Nikon lens.

This is a very nicer 16mm wide angle lens for the Nikon Z-mount cameras. The build quality is on par with the best in my experience and I've owned some of the best lenses from the big brand names for the Nikon system. It's a mostly all metal construction and has some size and weight to it but it feels amazing. The all important image quality from this lens is excellent, minimal vignetting or chromatic aberration. The focus and aperture rings are smooth and responsive. The digital display panel is bright and easy to read and is customizable. The two rubber covered function buttons have a quality feel to them and are placed nicely for easy access. On the Z6III body it feel well balanced and performs excellently. The price point on this lens is very favourable when compared to other similar lenses from Nikon, Sigma, Tamron, etc. This is an excellent quality lens and I would recommend it.

The lens is well built and image very sharp. This is consistent with reviews on YouTube. I like the function buttons and the aperture ring on the lens for more control options. It is excellent for landscape and astro- photography. Very pleased with this purchase. I would like to say that customer service of the vendor is great, too. Quick response to my questions.

Attached the lens to my new Z9 and it made a strange repetitive buzzing sound and did something weird with the exposure every 10 seconds. There was no autofocus or aperture connection to camera.When off the camera, the aperture blades did not open (or close) when I moved the ap ring; it was stuck @ f22. I did a factory reset & firmware upgrade, no luck. Still useless.I will buy the lens but bummed that I got a dud this time around

This is a fabulous, light-weight and compact full frame super wide-angle lens. It is now my go-to lens for Milky Way and Aurora photography. It is at a price point that makes it very competitive with name brands.
