Lots of assembly. Two people is a must. Sling fabric must be stretched onto frame. This took both of us and was difficult. One sling came attached to seat and back upside down. We could not reverse it .

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others. These bar chairs might look nice once they’re finally put together, but the assembly process is an absolute nightmare. The instructions are vague and confusing, with no labels on the parts, so you're left guessing what goes where. The tools provided? Basically toys. You’ll definitely need professional tools (and maybe a professional!) to even stand a chance. I’m pretty handy and still ended up with sore hands just from trying to get one screw in – and there are 64 screws total! Unless you’re someone who builds furniture for a living, save yourself the headache. These chairs are not made with the average person in mind.
