I can not say that I have other columns to compare this to, but do think it is a nice piece which can be used as decor, or as a plant stand. We will be using it on our deck, which we are currently resurfacing. In the meantime it is lining the walkway to our house, along with some bust planters, which do sit securely on trhe column (though I am not sure I will be using it in that way. I am thinking it would work well with trailing plants like nasturtiums or thyme, if you do not want to use it alone as decor.It is a nice size and works well with small to medium sized planters. I should note that the figures are on 2 sides, so it works best against a wall or fence. It could be used freestanding, but be aware that the decorations are on 2 sides, with the back undecorated (but not flat).

This angel column statue looks beautiful and adds a nice touch to any space. It has a detailed design that gives it a classic, elegant feel. It’s not too heavy, which makes it easy to move around, but that also makes me a little unsure about keeping it outside. I decided to use it indoors, and it works perfectly as a stand for a plant or other decor. I’m planning to place a flowing indoor plant on it, it’s going to look great in the living room. I do wish it had a bit more weight for outdoor use, but for indoor decorating, it’s really a lovely piece.

We have one other pedestal like this, and they really look great. This one does, too. It’s a great size and it looks really good. This is one that will look great anywhere. We got it for an outside flower garden area but it looks so good we may keep it inside.

Well I was surprised when I lifted the box so easily. I opened it and the statue looked really great. There is fine detail that IMHO is very impressive. I was originally thinking of placing it in my outdoor garden. With it being so light I did a little research and learned that leaving it outside may not be the best of ideas.So I placed it on my screened in porch to where it can't be blown around by the wind as easily as if it were truly outside. And I've been getting lots of great comments on it. I found a plant that decorates the stand more than perfectly. Now I'm so glad that I ordered it. This Roman column statue comes highly recommended from me!!!

There is one angel on the front of the pedestal base. It is pretty and complements the other angel statues in my yard. I am using this pedestal as a base for one of my smaller angel statures. It is not smooth on every surface and crease which to me adds a rustic feeling to the pedestal base. This base is not as heavy as a cement base nor is it light as a plastic one. It would have been nice if there was a larger hole in the base with a plug but I think it won't be necessary since I lay down my statues when a heavy wind is forecast. There are four rubber feet on the base that will prevent scratches on a floor if it is displayed in the house. I really love the style. It does add some class to my yard.

Great little pedestal for a plant or something. It’s not super heavy but looks like it would be. It’s heavy enough that it wouldn’t blow over in the wind though. The detail is very nice in the carving. It’s short. As long as you are ok with the height, highly recommended.
