The chest was just the right size nice and large to store our products we sell. BUT it had to be repaired by my husband. The latch was laying inside the trunk. He put that on and noticed the inside panels were coming loose. He used gorilla glue to fix that issue.I would have sent it back but we needed it for storage. Thankfully my husband is a handyman.

Hardware is a little flimsy, however Chest is Awseome. I bought it mostly for Decor looks great in my Western/Southwest Den. Very Happy

Looks nice, but stain/finish comes off when you touch it. It breaks just opening it or doing normal things like moving it. Not durable at all.

Great trunk. I bought this originally to put all of my keepsake memories in it and it's perfect!. I am able to fit a preserved wedding dress, as well as many other keepsakes that my husband has given to me over the years. I have had so many compliments on this trunk.

Not worth the price paid. Very cheap construction and hardware. Trunk stain rubs off on anything it gets near! Arrived with one latch bent and broken; but they're made of tin so the fix was rather easy.

The quality of the chest is not what I was hoping for. It's very thin wood so don't expect it to take a beating.The shipping box was fitted like a glove to the chest. There is no packing foam to protect the chest from bangs and dings during shipping. Two corner metal pieces were slightly deformed due to box damage and a few staples on the wood ribs had been partially dislodged which I was able to push back in.The chest looks really nice. I just wish the materials used to build it were of better quality. Had it been less expensive I would have given it a better star rating but as it is I was underwhelmed.

I have never seen a more poorly made piece of c___ in all my life. This was to be my granddaughters graduation gift. I had to quickly order a real piece of furniture that was cedar. This was some sort of thin wood, well I think it's wood but I didn't smell cedar. We waited to long to return it so out came the glue gun and paint please don't purchase this chest. It's horribly made. I have never written a bad review through Amazon's sellers. Well I can't say that anymore

Love the antique look of this chest. Very thin wood and clasps are not the best quality but it is large for storage and looks very good at the end of my couch.
