Hands free is such a pleasure after using the original Vinturi for approx 10 years. So far I’ve used it on two different bottles; no leaking at all. The aeration activity is subtle, but it’s definitely there. I’m SO glad I finally bought this new style. (I dropped my old clunky vinturi one too many times - on the floor - and now it’s toast. Needed a new one.)

Update - 2/4/2024I am buying my 3rd one!The 1st I used at a friend's house and gave it to her.The 2nd, I used for about 3 months, and then the dog ate it.I am hoping the 3rd with survive a bit longer, I really like it!Note: I also have a decanter that works well but takes longer. I use the Vinturi to pour the wine into the decanter. It gets a little more time to aerate and I can rinse and put the Vinturi away (hopefully where the dog can't get it).First, read the instructions! This gadget works very well, but you must follow the directions!Briefly:Open the wine bottleInsert gadget into the bottle firmly, it should not be loose or wiggly.Pour the bottle at a 45° angle, bottom end up, into a wine glass. If your are nervous about the gadget falling out, hold it with a couple fingers.Do not block any of the small holes! When it is working, you will hear a sort of sucking sound as air is drawn in and mixed into the wine.In the glass, the wine will have lots of bubbles on the surface - it almost looks carbonated. The bubbles will go way and your wine will taste much better than straight from the bottle.Note: This is for RED wines only! Other wines do not need aeration.

Es un buen arreador, hace muy bien su función pero si ladeas un poco la botella para servir se derrama el vino por los orificios del Venturi

Easy to use and clean. Was dripping on first use, but that was used error - make sure you push it in the bottle fully enough to get the seal!

would be a great idea if it didn't leak 90% of the time. if you don't put it in just right it will leak red wine all over your couch, floor or table you are near. if i do not hear back from vinturi i will assume this is an ongoing problem and will toss it out and buy from another manufacturer. it does work but if i have to replace a shirt every time that i use it, it is useless to me. beware! UPDATE: have had this of 4 weeks, have used it every night that i have had it. DO NOT BUY! it is a horrible design and leaks from several locations unless you have it PERFECTLY inserted AND aligned with your glass where the wine doesn't squirt out of that air holes. it is not worth my time to send it back but you get what you pay for. btw i contacted the company and they haven't returned my call. i guess it's not worth their time wither. there are other brands with better reviews and OBVIOUSLY better quality.

I learned about this product from a well-known chef in a local bistro. After trying the aerator, my experience has proven him correct. There is now a discernable and positive improvement in the taste of my wines. I will definitely recommend the Vinturi to friends and family. Thank you for an exemplary product.

Provides very little aeration bubbles wen pouring sweet sherry wines like Pedro Ximenez. Probably because this type of wine is dense, but other aerators work well.

Nothing can replace airing a bottle or glass of good wine. If you're using this, it's because you want to get the wine into your mouth faster without the wait. It works great, and makes a clean pour into a glass. You'll need a bottle brush to really clean it, but if you rinse it after a bottle of wine, it will last for a long time before it needs a scrub.

Es un utensilio cómodo para los amantes del vino y también para los que toman de vez en cuando. No ocupa sitio en la cocina y realiza su función a la perfección. Estoy muy satisfecha con la compra.

Substantial, thick crystal-clear acrylic that exudes quality. Unlike Vinturi’s original aerator product, this on-bottle Vinturi aerator is infinitely easier to use, one-handed, with no spills or dribbles. It is easy to clean. Unlike the “other” on-bottle aerator that is garnering so much attention, this one does NOT have an easily broken black plastic base; the boot-like base is a rubber material that seals well. For full aeration effect, don’t be afraid to pour liberally.
