Trimold Vinyl Anti-Slip Stair Nosing
Easy to use
1. Clean
Start by thoroughly cleaning the surface of your stairs. Remove any debris, dust, or dirt using a broom or vacuum cleaner. Ensure that the surface is dry and free from any moisture.
2. Measure
Take accurate measurements of each stair tread where you plan to install the Vinyl Anti-Slip Stair Nosing. Measure the length and width of the tread to determine the appropriate size for the nosing.
3. Cut
Using a sharp utility knife or a suitable cutting tool, carefully cut the Vinyl Anti-Slip Stair Nosing to fit the measured dimensions. Make sure to follow the marked lines precisely to achieve clean and accurate cuts.
4. Install
Peel off the adhesive backing from the Stair Nosing. Align the nosing with the edge of the stair tread, ensuring it is centered and straight. Firmly press down on the nosing, starting from one end and working your way to the other, to ensure secure adhesion. Repeat this process for each stair tread.

We used to finish off our laminate stairs worked great there were a couple spot were backing didn't stick very well so we used two sided tape. The tape we got was too thick and made it bow out a little bit as shown in picture but can't really notice it unless your looking for it. Why did we use this? Well we have 43" wide stairs. Normal stair nosing comes in 78 inch sections at around $40 dollars a piece. With 8 steps we were looking at $320 to finish stairs with one cut pieces. Would have been a little cheaper if we butted nosing pieces together. But this looks great and gives the dog more grip going up and down. We also purchased some little stair rugs and honestly your eyes go straight to the rugs and you don't really notice the rubber. Now maybe on a lighter color floor it would be more noticable so keep that in mind. Hope this helps someone😁Ps. There are some bends when you get this we layed out on floor and went down straighten it a little bit but once you get it in placed and taped the bends smooth out pretty good.

At the top of my stairs there was a lip where it changed from carpet to wood. I put it on that lip as it was slippery and I didn't want myself or children to slip and fall. Boy it worked out great!! I had enough material to do the next level (I have a split foyer) and where my dining room and living room meet. Highly recommend!

We have a step up from our living room into our kitchen and the area where the 2 different types of flooring (ceramic tile and laminate) met and needed a cover. I chose the rubber edging as I thought it would look nice and also help with safety as people step up or down. While I like the way it helps with transition and looks aesthetically, I’m frustrated with trying to keep the lower edge “stuck” to the laminate…popping up in several places. I’ve tried multiple glue products and still am having issues.
