I was skeptical upon opening because the part that slides over the chin rest seemed so much smaller than my actual chin rest. I wanted to try this because I teach all day and have many long rehearsals of my own. The elastics reached/stayed put just fine but the opening for the chin rest being so short would start to come off even in the middle of playing. Too unreliable. Would have been great if it stayed on.

Ordered this for my 6 yr old daughter and expected it to fit 1/8 violin. product only fits 3/4 or 4/4 though. returning
