Easy to install, easy tuning, overall sound is very good, 3 sets of strings, so there’s a back up set. Good value for the sound that’s produced.Just one problem, one set came with 2 G strings and no D string. I tried to make contact with the seller but I did not get a response. I did not want to send back all 3 sets so I just left it at that.

Good steel strings for 4/4 violin, they sound great and play very well. Easy to install, the strings are individually packaged and labeled. Very high quality strings for the price.

I do not play violin, but I'm a multi-instrumentalist who will try to play ANY musical instrument just for fun. When I inherited my mom's 1940's era full-sized student violin, it just went in a closet for years. Being curious, I recently decided to replace the strings--one broken, three still intact but probably 70 years old at least. With a little tinkering I got the strings replaced, got the intonation somewhat in the ball park, and had some fun, paired with a similarly inexpensive new violin bow. I'm proud to report that I am of course horrible sounding as a violinist. But piping the whole thing through a ring modulator, I was in business: instant "Krautrock"-style violin! Are these great strings for the price? I have NO IDEA. But they certainly worked for me, and I'm very happy with my atonal ring modulated musings!
