Using a dense metal like tungsten creates a slim profile dart barrel compared to a dart without tungsten. The higher the percentage of tungsten used, the smaller the profile, allowing for a closer grouping of darts to maximize scoring. Intended for use with electronic dartboards and are ideal for casual-to-intermediate level players. Each barrel has strategically placed knurled bands, deep grooves and rings that make excellent gripping points and encourages consistent hand placement. Viper Wings darts are equipped with heavy-duty, lightweight aluminum shafts with locking holes and diamond-cut etchings. Locking holes in the shaft allow for a tighter fitting to the barrel that improves stability and greatly reduces the need to retighten during play. Quality flights are constructed to help increase speed and reduce drag, delivering a consistent flight path for pinpoint accuracy; detailed graphics are prominently displayed for added flare. They feature 2BA Tufflex Tips II soft tip dart points that have a reinforced cone, making them extremely strong and durable. Simply twist for a tight, secure fitting and easy removal. The barrels are compatible with all 2BA sized corkscrew thread dart points. These darts include an additional set of nylon shafts, flights, flight protectors, 2BA dart points and a dart mechanic wrench. The Viper Wings darts and accessories are fashionably stored and protected in the Deluxe Dart Pal case, which features a soft cloth lining and a hard outer shell.

Little over a month old, and a random bounce out shattered these “tungsten” darts on our ceramic tile floor. Tungsten, even 80%, shouldn’t break into pieces by falling to the ground. I’ve sent a message to their customer support, waiting on response to see if they will replace.

I think they're better darts than I have at half the price. Pink's not my style, though..Great grip, balance, and flight. Overall great feel. Can't go wrong, great buy!

So, I'm by no means a dart aficionado. I want to become good at throwing a sharp object at a target, and I'm starting with darts (with the eventual dream of being a world renowned knife thrower;)~ The grip is good. The butterflies are cute as well as the pink stripes on the grip. The flight shaft (or whatever it's called) does loosen most times I throw the dart, but a friend who is more savvy about darts told me a rubber washer will fix that. Why darts don't come with those, I don't know. However, as a dart newbie, I recommend these as a girly, nicely priced starter set of darts!

I bought these for my wife as part of her valentine's gift. We play darts at our house almost nightly and she has a love of purple butterflies. The weight of these darts are well balanced and the texture gives a relatively firm grip but is not overly rough.
