Installation Instructions:
- Ensure your section of LED light strip has two contacts (+ and -) and the contacts are both clean
- Open the white clasp of the connector
- Insert the LED light strip into the clasp, under the prongs - making sure to match the + and - on the strip to the + and - on the clasp Close the clasp.
- Gently pull on the LED light strip to confirm you've made a solid connection
- Your connection is made!
NOTE: If you connect multiple light strips and the light at the end is dim, it may be that the power supply is not enough to drive the entire strip. It is recommended to replace the power supply with a higher power or install an amplifier.

I got these so I could extend and readjust/trim my lights and still use them, but the LEDs towards the end of the strip are discolored and dull because power isn’t being distributed evenly.

I’ve attempted to extend the led strips off of previously placed strips. Only the blue lights work and only that particular Shade, any other blue tint won’t work (see photo for reference). Overall, these are impossible to put into the prongs and by manually opening them up a bit more to fit in the strip, you’ll most likely damage the connector in the process.

As a few others have said, you might need to bend up the prongs with a small screwdriver to fit the strips in, and then push them back down to get a good connection

Our 8 year old received LED strip lights for his room as a Christmas gift. I ordered a 2nd pack of lights but didn’t know how to connect them. I ordered these and they worked perfectly. It took me a couple of tries to figure out how to slide the LED strip under the connectors, but once I figured it out it was so easy.

I was like some of the others who had trouble at first and thought I could just figure out how to use these. I had trouble opening them. I had trouble inserting my lights and closing the clips. I had trouble making connections and getting all my light to work. Then I went back and looked at the pictures. The clips are easy to open once you see how to open them. The connectors should slide UNDER the little clips and NOT ON TOP of them. I don't know why, but making sure to align the polarity (i.e. plus sign (+) on the clips to plus sign (+) on the light strips) made a difference and my lights ALL worked. They didn't work for me at first, but now I understand.

First time I have ever used these. I was nervous making the first cut in the light strip but these connectors worked perfectly, and I used several of them to run a motion sensored light strip around the inside of a cabinet.

Fits my 10mm strips.There is no adhesive to adhese to anything...I did use clips to bring closer to underside of cabinet.

So they work great but they are a pain to connect both sections of the light. Beware that they can disconnect easily form the connection and they are hard to open
