Skills Learned: Square base with flat reed, using Tulip D handles, twining (or pairing) weave, plain-weave with flat reed over an odd number of spokes, simple upright braid border. V.I. This is an excellent kit! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. There is an incredibly generous amount of material imcluded. I have completed the basket, and I have enough reed left over to make another one (if I buy another handle)! The only issue I had with this kit is that Amazon sent it in a bag, not a box, so the handle was broken when it arrived. But it broke on a joint, so I was able to glue it easily, and it works fine. You can't see the break on the finished basket. But I blame Amazon's bad shipping practices for the broken handle, NOT the manufacturer. This kit is high quality, and a great value for the money. I would highly recommend it.
