The model looks good, the lettering is clearly just a thin sharpie someone hand-wrote each label on. This makes smudging an easy fix though as I plan to just re-sharpie any parts I need. The "key card" is just a piece of paper with the number labels printed on it. The stand is plastic and is terrible quality, my model doesn't sit straight on the stand, it's kind of pointing towards a corner. The model itself is big and a great learning tool, it appears to have plenty of detail and doesn't seem too cheap. It's probably the best you can hope for at the asking price.

I was excited when I saw the reviews online and I ordered one only to come unlabeled and the keys and numbers are not color coded as stated in the description. If you are already a scientist and know the brain my heart then this is for you but if you are trying to learn or want to teach, this is not a good model. Very disappointed. Wasted my time and now I have to go return it to the IPS store.

Great product! Fine job of preparing and coating the model. It has some heft to it! The many areas are clearly labeled or numbered. Very fast, responsive, courteous customer service department. Keep this king-sized brain next to you in the love seat next time you watch Young Frankenstein. lol.

The brain is fairly heavy. The supporting bracket takes the weight but seems kind of flimsy. The brain itself is good as an educational tool and has a quality feel. Markings are correct. JUst the base could have been better.

Excellent model of the brain, both practical and an attractive item. The brain model itself is well constructed and suitable for basic teaching of brain anatomy and structure, and it includes some description of functional areas as well.My one complaint, for all the quality of the item, is that the base of the stand is a cheap plastic which, which is not adequate, is hardly of the expected quality.Nevertheless, it's good model, disassembles and easily, is nicely labeled....good quality brain, cheesy plastic base. Overall very good and I'd recommend to those looking for a good teaching brain anatomy model....might even get students interested in neuroscience.

I was so excited about this model. It comes apart and looks cool. I have to send it back because the limbic system is not labeled, very frustrating. I called for help no one at company could help me label this as parts.

Excellent quality. This is a great item. Well built and detailed. This is the only item I have purchased that the base leaves a little to be desired. I wish it was a bit heavier duty as this brain is heavy. That being said. I still high gl recommend this item
