Amazing blender. This blender is very powerful and has no issue chewing through ice cubes. It can be a bit noisy on higher settings, but nothing I would consider to be a problem. I would expect noise if something is powering through ice cubes like it’s nothing. I like that it has some automatic programs so that, for example, it’ll start slow to mix, then ramp up to grind/blend. Cleaning it is a breeze. You just lift out the container, which has the blade built-in, and wash it out. The lid is a silicone type material so is easy to clean as well. I’ve had it for a few months now and it seems to be very durable. I will update the review if I run into any issues.

I’ve wanted to stop going out for smoothies and save up money by just making them on my own, but I’ve held off because I have a texture thing where I hate feeling clumps in my drinks. I heard that this blender would blend anything to a smooth consistency and does just that! I use this for my smoothies and for my protein shakes, and after about 10 seconds or so in the blender, it blends what I need into a milkshake consistency. I’ve had it for about a year now and it still holds pretty good!

I didn’t realize how crappy my other blender was until I got this. It’s so powerful. I use it for juicing. It blends hard veggies and fruits like ginger and beets with no issues.My old blenders would always have a smell like the motor was burning out.This really is worth the extra money if you blend a lot.

FOR YEAR I HEARD ABOUT VITAMIX, SAW HUNDREDS DEMOS OF IT BEING USED. I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD AFFORD ONE. WELL, AMAZON SELL THEM REFURBISHED - IT WORKS ABOUT AS GOOD AS MY OSTER, NO BETTER. IT'S A GOOD BLENDER BUT NOT WORTH WHAT THEY CHARGE FOR THEM!

This thing is fantastic. My step-mom has one and when I tried it at her house I NEEDED to get one. Its a real workhorse. I'm able to make 4 smoothies at once in this thing! The only issues I've had are when I overfill it, which is of course my own fault lol.

Me ha salido genial la licuadora, funciona como esperaba, el ruido es normal, es fácil de limpiar, pero una vez lo usé para moler pollo y se quedó en la parte de abajo de la cuchilla, no lo pude limpiar hasta desarmarla completamente. Sin duda vale la pena, es bastante potente.

I've never been more disappointed in a product. After years of hearing about how great the Vitamix is, I decided to invest in one. I was really looking forward to those thick acai bowls! I was coming from a nutribullet pro that I have used for the last few years to make acai bowls with frozen blocks. It required some coaxing but did the trick. This Vitamix requires a SIGNIFICANT amount of coaxing to get the acai bowls to blend and I wind up with a halfway melted base of acai every time. It seriously can only "try" to blend for about 4 seconds before getting stuck and I have to rework the product with the stick or by taking off and stirring product. I am adding enough liquid - it just does not meet the hype it terms of power. It SUCKS. I know I did not buy the more expensive one, but this one does not even do what my nutribullet pro was capable of at a much lower price point. This is a frustrating piece of equipment and it makes me angry I spend the extra money on it every time I use it. I am not one to write negative reviews but this warranted it. Truly regret buying this product.

Requires 110 volts AC electricity, not compatible with UK power supply.In addition, the plug is US plug.I have not tried it with a transformer.Otherwise it would be a good blender.
