The hardware included is terrible. The crush set nuts are too small for the frame and do not work, they just spin. The deflectors are a great fit, so get creative to attach them.

So, I can’t complaint about the good quality that both plastic items are. Yet, can’t say the same about the assembly parts. So, I got thinking and decided to buy the assembly parts from HD and it worked! Just buy the screws (3787) and the special nuts (8194). You can use the washers that come with the kit. Buying the 4 screws and the 2 special nuts cost about $7. I added the parts numbers so the purchase can be made easy when you go to HD.

Amazon typically delivered the product promptly 5 stars. The Heat deflectors are a black / grey smoked plastic that fit well to the frame of the bike. The main issue that made installation more difficult than necessary was the fact the instructions are inadequate. It seems the translation from chinese to english needs some work. The manufacturer should hire an english speaking person familiar with the product to review the instructions before sending with the product. I was able to use 1/2 of the fasteners, particularly the zink coated nuts, designed to expand into a hex shaped hole. (this I discovered from another reviewers comments). all fasteners were metric, so it worked with the supplied nut but I had to use a 1/4"-20 allen head cap screw for the top fastener to the bike frame threaded hole. In the end the product looks good but it took longer to install than necessary. My bike is a 2017 Street Glide Special.

The item received did not include the two barrel nuts or the two J nuts as in the description and item picture and video. Just four nuts bolts and washers. The right side deflector in the description and video shows two mounting holes in the upper mounting position. The one received only had one (see the photo)and therefore will not line up with the threaded hole in the frame as shown in the video. Therefore these will not fit a 2017 Road Glide properly as indicated in the description and in the video.

Purchased used like new, all the necessary hardware was included for easy installation. The packaging was a little suspect, as it was not boxed, but shipped in a large amazon package. The item was wrapped in bubble wrap, nothing was damaged, thankfully. Installation was simple, instructions was confusing. Time it took was less than 20 minutes. The screws are allen head, included the quick fasteners making installation a breeze.
