I built a desk using a butcher block and a frame. I wanted a little drawer to keep my desk clutter free. This thing has been perfect! I was a little worried about the fact that my table top has a live edge, but it didn't end up being that big of a deal.

This drawer is wonderful. The instructions were easy to follow and install was a breeze. It works perfectly for my needs. The only downsize is that if I stuff it too full, things fall out of the opening in the back.

These things arent cheap, i have one at my work desk at work so decided to get one for home when i bought a new desk without a drawer. This brand Vivo is pretty solid i have already ordered monitor mount, computer side table mount and this drawer to make my desk into an expensive desk!

I had a previous plastic drawer that was stuck on with adhesives; the plastic became warped with time and the drawer essentially became useless. So I was looking for a sturdier alternative.Ideally this product would come with a template that you could tape a template underneath your desk to mark the drill holes, etc. But that's not included, so you need to get creative. I flipped my desk upside down and then working is pretty straightforward, but I didn't have anything on my desk that didn't move off easily either.They include the usual cheap screwdriver and wrench, etc. You need to supply a power drill to make some pilot holes. I'm guessing most people with a drill also have screwdrivers and wrenches.Once the drawer is installed, it is solid; you can grab the drawer and shake and the desk shakes with it. No looseness, etc. It's not going anywhere. The drawer movement is also smooth; it slides in and out easily.It's a great size for storing pens, pencils, notepads, basic office supplies, etc. It's a little short, but my standing desk (like all of them I imagine) has a bar running down the center of it, so it could only be two or three inches longer and still fit.Overall, it's a quality product. Well packaged.

Like some others mentioned, this product is sturdy. I would like to note that unlike some others who had damage to their product, mine did not. In fact it would appear VIVO made improvements in their packaging to avoid this damage.This is one of the best packaging I have seen on a product. Note that it did ship in a VIVO box and not inside an Amazon box with extra Amazon packing. The walls of the cardboard VIVO box was 1/4 inch. Added to that the inside walls of the carboard box had and extra approximately a 1/2 inch of a strong honeycomb style cardboard. Added to that, foam padding of up to 1/2 inch was placed strategically around, with some other foam support blocks too. I am late to the game on this product, so I can only assume that they have seen the reviews regarding damage, and they have worked to address the issue.The product was simple. Basically three (3) parts. I put all the parts together and used clamps to hold the brackets to the desk as I positioned it where I wanted. I followed the directions mostly except that I detached the brackets from the drawer and screwed them in one at a time, then attached the drawer back tot he rails. If I didn't have clamps, I probably would of used books to get the drawer into position before marking the holes.The drawer does pull fully out for complete access to all contents. That is nice, but you might also want to note that the drawer itself isn't that that long so it not too amazing that it fully extends. They could of easily made the drawer longer, but then people would complain about it not extending all the way.Lastly, this fit great under "Amazon Basics Multipurpose Rolling Cart, Desk Extender, Natural".
