It works with my stand up desk but the knob to tighten up the mechanism to hold it in place does not do a good job. I am constantly readjusting the platform to move my keyboard to the correct location. It works, just expect to keep adjusting it because it won't stay in place.

Purchased this nearly 4 years ago, and it performs exactly as you'd expect it to. No problems to date, besides a gradual buildup of dust, but that's a me-problem.This shelf is ideal for getting that keyboard out of the way when you don't need it, without taking up too much leg room. It can also be adjusted to give access to the keyboard/mouse under the desk if that's what you prefer. It was the perfect addition to the "Fredde" gaming desk that I bought from Ikea. The one note that I have is that it might have trouble holding larger keyboards (see pics), but that can be remedied if you remove the wristguard at the front (it looks like it's just glued on).I could not be happier with this product. A+

The corner unit (and the Vivo keyboard holder) makes computer work easy again. With a little trial & error, you can easily make the most frustrating desk design efficient and user friendly. The corner piece attaches easily, as does the Vivo keyboard tray and mouse holder. On the side of the keyboard tray are two #10-size bolts that can easily be tightened to lock the keyboard to your favorite position, yet still, be able to hide the entire tray assembly under the corner unit and out of sight. Makes any corner-type computer desk user-friendly and personally adaptable.

I had looked online for some time for a good keyboard tray as my new desk was quite a bit narrower than my last one. The desk I had bought had a top that was made out of particle board only 3/4 inch thick. The screws provided with the keyboard tray would have penetrated the top of the desk. I also didn't want to use smaller screws as the hardware and keyboard tray are quite heavy and solid, I didn't want them to tear free from the underside of the desk with smaller screws. My desk also had a 1 inch metal bar along the edges which would not allow me to fasten the tray to the underside of the desk. I used 1 inch thick plywood, cut it to size (10 inches by 2.5 inches), sanded it down and spray-painted them black. These wood blocks fit perfectly behind the metal bars and provided enough clearance for the unit's slide tray. I ended up screwing the plywood trough the top of the desk using 1 inch long flathead wood screws. They held the plywood perfectly. I then covered the screw heads with adhesive tabs.I found that the rolling mechanism on the keyboard tray was a bit stiff so I added some grease and worked it in. I then fastened the hardware to the plywood blocks from underneath as instructed. So now I had 3 screws from the top and 2 from the bottom. The keyboard tray is extremely sturdy feeling, glides under the desk with ease with the addition of a bit of grease and looks very posfessional. It is also very large, I have an oversized keyboard (which I am changing) and there is still room for the mouse.Cons:-A bit hard to install alone but not impossible, you just need to be patient and organized. Much easier with two people.I've seen some comments about how the tightening mechanism weakens with time. I will update this review if this happens to me.

Installation instructions are good and should be followed. We installed two identical and second was easier. Important to determine seating at desk. We have filing cabinets under desks so tray had to be placed accordingly as to where operator will be sitting. Tray provides nicely for keyboard and mouse. The tilting and swivel features are nice.

I don't need this for a lot of heavy use, so I'm happy with the compromise between cost and sturdiness. But you can't really rest your hands/arms on this too hard or it will move/sink. I had to crank the knob really tight to get it to stay where I wanted it, which made me wonder how long the threads would last before they start to wear out. I also had a 3" square metal tube on the underside of my Ikea desk, and had to add a couple of 3 1/4" wooden blocks to the underside of the desk to mount this. So I'd say the installation could take medium skills to do, and could be hard for someone who doesn't tinker/diy a bit. If you think you'll use this a lot and you don't want something fussy, then you should pay more for a more robust product.

I bought this drawer, as I wanted to sit a little lower at my desk.I didn't read the instructions first, so I installed the bracket before realizing that I had to remove it to install the arm. Other than that hiccup, installation was a breeze.Overall, the mechanism seems fairly solid (exception noted below), and I think it will serve my purpose well. The tray is wide enough to accommodate my MS Natural Keyboard (which is a wonky shape), and there's enough room for the mouse for work activities. Two negatives:1. The platform itself flexes a bit, which, for me, causes my keyboard to lift on one corner, and then tap down again as I type. I will probably add some rubber feet to my keyboard to stop the noise.2. There is only one adjustment knob, which means that to lower / raise the tray, you also unlock the tray angle. One thing I really like is the ability to set the tray to a negative angle. This is a nice feature for more comfortable wrist placement. You can't set it too low, though, otherwise the mouse slides down on it's own.In summary, I would recommend this tray for someone who wants a more comfortable work setup. It's not what I would call commercial grade, but also, it doesn't have a big price tag. Decent value for the money.

I really like the strength and stability of this tray. It's very easy to install and adjust to your preference. For a long time I was experiencing shoulder pain, which I thought was caused by using my computer keyboard and mouse on the tabletop, and keeping my shoulder in the same position for too many hours at a time. After installing this tray I can keep my hands at an adjustable position, reducing the strain on my shoulders. It's very easy to move up and down, in and out, and change the work angle. After a few months I realized I was no longer having the pain in my shoulders and I can work more hours with less stress.

I've been very satisfied with the rugged build quality and helpful buyer's guides / assembly videos from VIVO. This keyboard stand has flawless, heavy duty metal construction, a track with more than enough range, and easy to use adjustment knobs. And like all VIVO products, they are aggressively priced relative to the "luxury desk accessories" market from Uplift et al. What would earn a fifth star?* 1-2" deeper tray, that could accommodate Logitech ergo keyboards without overhang.* More negative tilt -- I could see myself wanting 30 degrees or more when my desk is in a standing configuration. In fairness, the tray meets its advertised specs exactly -- some of this is on me for not wanting to pay 3X for products with a few degrees more tilt. Still, I feel these improvements could be made without compromising VIVO's outstanding value proposition.

I use it for work and I have the tension as tight as possible, but the tray keeps lowering while I'm typing so I have to release the tension, reset the tray position, tighten again and start all over just to have the tray eventually lower again. This is not good for someone trying to work a production based job. This might be good for light use, but not good for people who use it frequently. I'm so disappointed this isn't going to work out since it was so expensive and I'm going to have to hunt for another. I give it a 2 because the wrist guard isn't too high and the size of the tray is a pretty decent size.7/16/18: One Month and 2 days later: Product can no longer be used and is now sitting on the floor about to be trashed. I kept having to adjust it, but now the tray is so fragile that it tilts on to my lap with even the slightest wrist pressure applied. Today, I had to stop working and clock out to remove it from my desk because it kept tilting on to my lap and I couldn't work with it.I logged on to Amazon to start the return product process only to see that I was 2 days beyond the return date, which fell on Saturday, June 14, 2018. Yeah, I couldn't believe it myself. 2 day late, so there goes $60.00 wasted, but I guess I partly blame myself for not returning it when I first saw there was an issue; I was desperate due to shoulder pain and this did help for the short time I had it despite tie constant readjusting until today when the bottom of the tray kept laying on my thighs and the top of the tray was in the air. I would adjust it to be level, apply my hands to the home keys on my keyboard and this this thing would tilt like the Titanic with the bottom part in my lap and the top part in the air and my forearms were even resting on my chairs arm rest! I'm not a big woman, ok? We're not talking about a 20lbs arm with where you can't tell where the hand ends and the wrist beings. I can wrap my little finger and thumb around my wrist and they can touch without the use of a bungy cord, so there's no reasoning behind this tray not supporting my wrist while my forearms are supported by a mack daddy Herman Miller chair. And that's not a humble brag bc I clearly did not did not pay full price for that chair because if I did then I wouldn't be complaining about wasting $60.00 on a terrible keyboard tray, I'm just saying that the forearm was well supported, so I place the rest of the blame on the company charging so much on a product wasn't made well at all.

I've had a lot of keyboard trays. I always ended up with issues every time. The screws mounted to the wood would always pop out. The tray would get stuck. This is the first keyboard tray I'm happy to have. It looks sleek, feels sturdy, and boy is it heavy. It's also very adjustable. My only complaint is that it's mounted via 4 screws. Due to the weight of this product, 4 screws mounted to wood would likely fall out over time. I don't fault the manufacturer for this as you can do whatever you please with those screws. I mounted it directly to the metal supports of my desk to ensure it would stay sturdy. Now, only time will tell.EDIT:Has held up well for two years now. The only issue I've had is occasionally you need to re-tighten this tray if you use it quite often like I do. And by occasionally, I mean like once every two months. It's not a big deal at all. For the price, the quality, and how well it's held up, this product is worth it.
