This is such a cool idea. The pegboard itself is powder coated steel and has no sharp edges. It comes with a few different bins, two cord managers, and a shelf, but it would be nice to have other accessories, either in the package or sold as a standalone set. The ability to customize the layout is a big draw, but it does feel a little limiting since there’s only so much space and only a handful of accessories at your disposal. A larger size option would be nice too, as long as it wasn’t too big. The real attraction here is that it can be used as a desktop organizer, and making it too big would remove that aspect and it would just become another pegboard like all the rest on the market. But having another version that’s only two inches bigger on the sides and top, and including other accessories like a lidded bin, a tape dispenser, or a security mount with a lock would be really useful. The stand for this pegboard was the biggest surprise; it weighs a lot - which makes sense because of the metal construction, but is impressive nonetheless. Obviously it can be mounted on the wall too, if that’s what you choose to do. Overall, I’d say this is one of those cool gadgets that certain people may really appreciate. It’s a great gift for anyone, but especially for Father’s Day. I highly recommend.

This is a pretty awesome little pegboard that you can stand on your desk. I have my crafting space in a room made of cinder blocks, so drilling stuff into the walls is more of a hassle than I care to be bothered with. The desk standing pegboard helps me stay organized. I thought it had a clamp feature, though, so I could clamp it on the back of my desk and not have to take up actual desk space, but it doesn't. Oh well. It's still very useful and sturdy!

This organizer is unique and suitable for desktop, wall, and doors. It has a similar concept of wooden pegboard, but with metal frame and accessories. It is innovative and very useful.

I assembled this pegboard as a freestanding unit. Assembly for this configuration required no tools and took about one minute to complete. It comes with accessories that include a shelf, two different size bins and two wire posts. After installing all of the included accessories there is still some space left over but no way to use it. It could use some more accessories such as some hooks and another shelf. At least the pegboard is made of steel so you can attach anything magnetic.

The - VIVO Steel Freestanding Desktop Pegboard, Cute 12 x 10 inch Peg Board with Accessories, Optional Wall Mounting, Black, PP-DK04F – is a great concept for someone like me who has a small desk/work surface with limited real estate available to house items that I use quite often and need to have at hand’s length. I love the fact that there is the option to hang it up or, stand it up on my desk which is what I opted to do. It’s a very solidly built piece too. My only complaint is I want more gadgets to add to the pegboard so I can store more things. Other than that, it’s perfect.

This pegboard is compact but heavy-duty, featuring a metal base and board that are surprisingly sturdy for its size. It effectively holds items in place, and the bottom tray is particularly useful. The ability to magnetize objects to the board is also a significant advantage. Assembly was straightforward, requiring no tools and taking only about a minute. Sturdy, super easy to install with the included 'tap-then-screw' dry wall anchors. I ordered this smaller pegboard as a sort of companion to a bigger pegboard (same company) I installed in a closet space a few weeks ago. I did not realize that the holes in this smaller pegboard are 1.2 inches whereas the larger, standard sized pegboard holes are 1.0 inches. Slight difference which only means certain accessories won't be interchangeable, so something to consider.

This pegboard is small but heavy duty - the base and board are both metal, pretty hefty for its size. It does a good job of holding stuff up and the bottom tray is really handy. Being able to magnetize things to the board is great too.The only thing is that repositioning the 2x wire posts will probably require taking things down from the pegboard, as the posts need some force to be removed.
