The has made an excellent exhaust fan for my cabin bathroom and kitchen. I tied both lines into one and the fan pretty much stays on 24/7. I have had it at least 3 years now and thrilled with the purchase. Easy to install, price is great, and functions like it should.

I bought this fan to draw fresh air into a recording booth - it turns out I need a much quieter model for my use case. For the record, I haven’t tried against other products (they are hard to find locally), but I do feel like the build quality and performance are great for the price.

I was having problems with my pipes freezing so I’ve been using this to pump warmer basement air in behind my cabinets while I work on a permanent solution. it’s a little noisy and fragile (it falls apart when you try and move it) but it does the job well for the price if you need a temporary fan. Think I’d buy something more robust if I needed it permanently

I ordered one a few months ago because I needed something cheap and thought I would give it a try. It worked well but after 2-3 months it started getting loud and then one day just stopped working. The price was really good so I ordered another one which has been running for just a few weeks and this one is starting to make a the same noise. While the price is great, it becomes more expensive then a better made fan if you need to replace it every few months.

Update:I bought this to keep a 150CF polypropylene PE enclosed-greenhouse (57" x 57" x 77" actual) close to a reasonable temperature that won't burn the plants in the afternoon sunshine. I figured that the 195CFM airflow would turn the air over inside the greenhouse a little over once per minute. Unfortunately, the inside temperatures still pushed above 120F in the afternoon. So, while this fan was awesome, I am replacing it (and returning it to Amazon) with a 8" inline duct fan that will replace the inside air every 12 seconds.End of Update.This thing is whisper quiet. For its size, I would have expected a better airflow, but it will work fine for my application.

This fan is decent and does the job but it is cheaply made. I've had mine running 24h for around 2-3 months without any noise or other issues. I have the speed controller 4" inline fan hooked up to my carbon filter but I was having temp issues after a tent change. This fan was brought in as a supplimentry unit.

Excellent choice for a grow tent. Have it coupled to a 4" carbon filter in my grow tent. Works well, pulls just enough air and has a very low amount of sound. Couple probably sleep in the same room as this is running in, its that quiet. Doesnt even get hot. No issues.

It's not a 4" fan. The OD is 3.75".Manufacturer doesn't list correct size specifications. I don't know if I should trust the other specs.Maybe it moves the advertized CFM... MAYBE...There are a few pros I can think of at this point.It's quiet, it works & it's inexpensive.The simple fact that it's listed as a 4" fan all over the box, the fan itself & the store page earns this product a coveted ONE STAR REVIEW!You're gonna buy a whole bunch of stuff designed for a 4" outer diameter & this fan is going to throw a wrench in everything.What a flippin joke!I'll manage but seriously... no bueno. 👎

Works great and is very quiet. Thought I could use a rheostat to adjust the speed but makes way too much noise that way. Only way its quiet is plugged in directly with no speed control. Other than that for the money it works great.

Works very well. Definitely low noise. Happy with the product.Also arrived a day early so no complaints.Update: have had this for about 10 days??Not sure what happened but the motor seems to have burnt out already. I dont blame the seller or the product istelf to be honest, I think I may have just gotten a dud? Happens with man made stuff I guess...

For a 4inch fan works pretty good. However if you attach a scrub filter to it you will notice a dramatic decrease in airflow almost to a subtle breeze if that. An if you remove the filter be sure to use less than 3ft of hose and to keep it perfectly straight as possible otherwise again you will barely notice any breeze at all. Now for last attempt I just mounted fan to wall with port directly inside sleeve to tent with no filter and no additional hose. Then I noticed some decent air flow from it. But for the price it's at least triple the air flow of the all silver 4inch inline fans that are like 18-24 bucks.

***UPDATED***Had some operating issues with the first fan I was sent.Great news though, VIVOHOME has FANTASTIC customer service and offered to send a new unit right away. Their response was very quick, and addressed my concern with urgency. I couldn't be more pleased.The fan doesn't have the strongest pull, but will absolutely move air in a small bathroom/closet. This fan has low power draw and is very efficient. The body is all plastic, and initially seemed fairly quiet. The air draw/current is louder than the fan itself. Probably wouldn't be well suited for long ducting runs and could possible result in a diminished flow; mine is on a very short run. I definitely notice a reduction with an 8 ft tube fully extended.The fan is well priced -- I did a lot of price comparison before settling on this one. It works very well for the price. I am very pleased with the service I received and would recommend this fan to others.
