This is a terrific, budget set. It’s a substantial value and much easier to read over analog equipment. Everything worked great right out of the box! I only used it once to verify pressures and temps on a r410a system.The plastic doohickeys on the hoses are a neat idea for super quick and easy tightening of the fittings, especially when wearing heavy gloves.The backlight is phenomenal! Perfect for low light or nighttime operation. The display is super easy to read.There is no rubber bumper or anything so I wouldn’t want to drop it.It sure is nice to have line pressures and temps, all at the same time and on the same display. Truly, for the price you can’t go wrong here for a home/diy/side hustle type.

I definitely wasn’t expecting anything this nice, quite professional device. I’m 70 year old female, who assists my blind retired mechanic husband. I have a difficult time seeing the numbers on his old gauge set, so I got this one in the hopes it would simplify the process. Wow all I need to do now is read him the digital information off the screen and he knows what he needs to do, what a blessing because I never knew how to read the other gauges. This truly is a blessing. The only issue I encountered was the manual overlooked showing, illustrating and explaining where the clamps are to be placed. We weren’t sure if you connect them to the hoses or battery for powering the instrument. He figured it out, but others that are just learning need to know. The hoses are compatible to other brands and the device works perfectly. We had no issues with leaking either. Definitely give it a huge thumbs up and well worth the investment, great gift for weekend techs or those entering the profession.

The VIVOHOME digital HVAC refrigeration AC gauges with two wired temperature clamp probes complete with three hoses comes in a sturdy plastic carrying case. The set allows you to do a pressure test, a temperature test and a leak test. The set will work with many refrigerants including R-134a, R-410a, R-32, R-1234yf, R-454B and others. The set has a very rugged well-constructed feeling to it.The unit was easy to set up for R-410A. When the unit is powered down and then powered back up it remained at R-410A and pressure test setting which is what I had last used. I was quite pleased that I did not have to reprogram in all the settings again. The screen is easy to read even in direct sunlight and it also includes a backlight for readings under low light conditions. Pressure can be read in various measurements including the more common PSI and kPa. The hoses in the set are approximately 4 feet long and have solid brass fittings. The temperature clamp probes are very helpful but do not seem to be constructed as ruggedly as the rest of the kit. They work well but I do not see them holding up under heavy use.I have used the set several times and it has worked extremely well. It is easy to connect and gives very accurate readings which have included pressure and temperature. I am very happy with this set and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good solid digital HVAC gauge set.
