Great functionality and user-friendly app. I find the brightness on max power good, and even outdoors in lowish light it is quite effective as a fill light. Battery life is quite good.

The new light is a joy to have when you want -or need-a little kicker light, hair/rim highlight or simply want to even out your lighting for stills. It’s also a great small fill when working indoors for video. Gives even, color adjustable lighting that’s excellent for that “little extra” pro look. Great battery life and it’s small form factor means it’s easy to slide in a minimal kit with no issues of overcrowding.

Es una luz LED RGB que se presenta como una solución economica para quienes buscan mejorar la iluminación en sus grabaciones de video o sesiones de fotografía.Al abrir la caja, nos encontramos con la luz Retro 08 X, un manual de instrucciones, un cable de carga (USB B de tamaño completo a USB C) y un soporte de zapata fría para acoplar la luz a una cámara. Todo lo necesario para empezar a usarla de inmediato.El diseño es uno de sus puntos fuertes. Con un estilo retro que recuerda a las cámaras antiguas, cuenta con un soporte roscado en la parte inferior y otro en el lateral, lo que permite montarlo tanto en horizontal como en vertical. En la parte superior encontramos el puerto de carga USB C, mientras que en el lateral están los botones para encender la luz, cambiar de modo, hacer selecciones y ajustar el brillo.La luz tiene una batería interna de 3.7v 6000 mAh. Dispone de un panel ligeramente difuso y varios modos de iluminación: CCT, HSI, RGB W, color y escena. Cada uno de estos modos permite ajustar el brillo, la temperatura del color, etc. Además, incluye diferentes tipos de escenas, como luz pulsante. Personalmente lo considero mas una "novelty" que otra cosa, al final nunca los usas en entornos serios y cuando los usas sueles hacerlo solo una vez.Incluso al 20% de su brillo es ya usable. Es capaz de iluminar eficazmente a los sujetos para trabajos de video o fotografía. La temperatura del color puede variar de 5600k a 8500k.En definitiva, una luz bien construida, intuitiva y muy controlable. Y ademas se puede encontrar por precios realmente asequibles. No te lo pienses.

I bought 2 of these and 2 of the smaller model.They can be controlled by the mobile app each individually in with each light in a separate group or together all in the same group.The battery life is pretty good and the build quality is very high.Totally recommended these lights.

Ho utilizzato molti faretti di questo tipo per lavoro, ne posseggo di diversa potenza e dimensioni e trovo sempre un modo di metterli al lavoro, che sia come luce principale o di schiarita, o semplice "mood light" in scene complesse.Viltrox è un brand che si è ormai da tempo affermato anche tra i profesisonisti sfornando ottimi prodotti a prezzo abbordabile, che hanno ricevuto a livello mondiale recensioni davvero fantastiche. Provate a cercare questo brand su Youtube e troverete tantissimi video di persone entusiaste di questo marchio, soprattutto per le loro lenti, disponibili per moltissimi brand.Questo faretto fa quanto prometto, niente di nuovo, lo ammetto, ma in più, unico che conosco, ci mette un estetica molto curata, di stampo vintage, che va a sposarsi con quella "retrò" di certe macchine fotografiche in commercio. Parlo di Fuji, ma anche di Olympus o delle ultime mirrorless Nikon.Il faretto ha tutte le regolazioni del caso, consentendo di regolare l'intensità della luce ma anche gli effetti visivi, la tonalità di colore RGB o la temperatura della luce bianca. Il tutto è controllato tramite i bottoni, belli grandi e facili da trovare, le rotelline e il display LED molto luminoso e chiaro con tutte le indicazioni necessarie, compresa la batteria.La durata della batteria è sufficiente per un uso professionale, e il fatto di poterlo caricare da USB-C mentre si usa il faretto rende la durata di utilizzo pressoché infinita.Insomma, un prodotto davvero bel disegnato e progettato, e se il vostro lavoro prevede di mostrare la vostra attrezzatura a molta gente, come ad esempio se siete fotografi di matrimoni, questo faretto sicuramente contribuirà a darvi quel tocco di classe che vi farà distinguere da altri fotografi più arrangiati e meno attenti.

From the moment I opened the box, this thing feels really good in your hands. The metal construction and black leather texture has such a retro feel like old meets hi-tech. It is feature rich with light effects, full RGB control using the buttons or you can use the app to pick an exact colors or a color wheel and then vary the brightness or tint to completely customize the color. It also has and even built in lighting effects. You can also use the light in many light situations when doing interviews or trying to match the ambient color of light in a room and it goes from 2500 to 8500 kelvin which is a pretty high range.All the functions on the light are pretty straight forward. There are 5 buttons. On/Off switch, (2) gold buttons to switch functions and then a + / - (plus minus) switch for adjust variables like brighter or darker. It's easy to navigate with little to no help with instructions.It comes with a diffuser and a charge cord. The diffuser is really nice to spread the light and give a softer look. I definitely recommend using it when using with people and it also kinda protects the edges when storing and doing videos.It's a little pricey, but i think with it's features and retro appeal that it's definitely worth it.
