This is a quality, very compact, Marine radio antenna. The antenna comes complete with coax, a fixed PL259 end as well as an L bracket for easy mounting. The bracket also comes with U-bolts for easy mounting. I will note the U-bolts do appear to be small in diameter. However, with the antenna only being slightly larger that what would be used on an HT radio, it will not need tremendously heavy hardware.The coax and PL259 end appears to be good quality as well as the fixed SO239 female end where the antenna connects to the coax. I also like that the antenna can be replaced with any other antenna that will accept an SO239 connector.Full disclosure, I have not checked SWR as of yet. However, if it is truly tuned for the marine band, it should have a respectable SWR that can be used with most any marine radio.The only negative I have found, is the antenna is not very long in length. Of course, the description on the website does not make the size easy to find. Buried deep in the item description it does show the antenna height as 6.4 inches. Anyone that knows radios, antennas, etc. understands that a larger/higher antenna will produce far better than a shorter/lower antenna.The overall quality of the antenna appears to be of good craftsmanship. Further usage/testing and time will tell the true picture.If you are looking for a simple, easy to install antenna that will not have a high wind-load or cause obstructions, then consider trying this antenna.

I broke my antenna on a bridge, so I bought this on, was so easy to install, and connect to my radio. It is shorter than my old one but works great. I didn't need to drill any holes in my boat as I was able to use the old one. I would recommend this product to anyone who has to replace you antenna. Only drawback is it smaller than you think

This antenna mount does what is intended of it--hold my antenna to my boat. Just what I needed. It's heavily made from what appears to be stainless steel (that's what's claimed), with the actual antenna mount from machined, threaded stock and most of the rest from castings. I can't make a call on corrosion resistance yet as it is too soon, but should hold up well. Stainless is pretty resistant, and the body appears to be chromed. It attaches to the tubular stock of your bimini or railing.

Nicely polished and machined, non-magnetic and heavy duty. It is a little on the heavy side, but this mount won't break like composite plastics.
