No amount of adjusting ever got this to run properly on a Apollo RFZ 125cc. It popped and backfired, high idled, and wouldnt run unless it was on choke. Spent hours tinkering with it. Junk product.

Really good carb i had to obviously modify the intake but i fit this carb on a 16ho v-twin vanguard with 1” headers, runs great sounds great

I bought it because I had seen a review that said they put it on their Apollo 125cc dirt bike so I bought it to try and after installation yes it works, but under Full Throttle or even giving it 3/4 throttle it wants to bog down and doesn't quite have the fuel delivery. Jets are a bit too small for what this bike needs however on a smaller dirt bike it might work better. Overall construction is decent for a mass produced carburetor. Could have some better quality checks and internals could be gone through to smoothing out some of the harsh ridges that could reduce air and fuel flow

Works great and definitely has more power.I wanted to make a review because I didn’t see one that was cut and dry when we looked to find a good swamp for the OEM carb on our RZR x14 125This swapped out relatively easy, only thing you won’t really be able to use is the originally line with the spring, the original line is to big you will need to use the supplied smaller ID tube with the spring. We are decided to not use the exterior filter as it’s to big and would probably melt from contact with hot parts of the bike. That being said it has a fuel filter sponge so you just need to of course be careful to not get it wet.Other then that there was ZERO TUNING needed it worked right out of the box.

recently installed piranha 140cc engine and read reviews on this carb and decided to try it, stock was a 26mm and this one is a 30 so worth a shot. it took me 1.5 days of messing with it and I finally figured it out. For me in Wilmington NC basically at sea level. I screwed both screws out 2 turns. I moved the clip on the needle jet to the 2nd one from the top, dropping it down to make it run leaner because it was running really rich. I used both pilot and main jets that came with it and honestly I feel like I got lucky. I have zero experience with carbs and have watched countless YouTube videos trying to figure them out. I included a crude drawing of the needle so you'd understand what I did, hopefully it'll help someone 🙂Oh and it's awesome 👌I have better throttle response and I think a little more power on top end

I’ve purchased 3 of these with varying results and quality.Firstly, the carburetors themselves aren’t the worst quality out there. I strongly suggest pulling the bowls off and cleaning thoroughly before use as all 3 had remnants of brass/aluminum from the manufacturing and assembly process.Second, the intake manifolds/spacers and gaskets are hit and miss with being the same and fitting the same. Two of the base gaskets to the cylinder came the right port size but wrong bolt spacing. One came the right bolt spacing but the wrong port size. All 3 plastic spacers also do not correctly match the port size of the intake manifold or the carburetor itself.Third, If you plan on using the spark plug they send with the kit check the ceramic around the tip of the electrode itself as 2 of the 3 were broken. This was not a big deal to me as i prefer to use a name brand spark plug just a heads up to those that might use the provided spark plug.Fourth and final, the main and pilot jet are not marked so jetting is a hassle to know where to even begin with a proper jet kit.All 3 air screws and needles set in the same position, float heights checked and factory unmarked jets and were installed on a pitster pro 140 with varying results out of the box.One fired right up with no choke needed and provided a crisp response, and clean power through the entire power band. Carburetor number 2 fired up with choke necessary and would idle sluggish and come to life only in the topend. Carburetor number 3 fired up with choke necessary and had a fast response down low but would not come to life up top.All in all you get what you pay for. As a small motor hobbyist these are great carbs if you have a budget and an exorbitant amount of free time to remove the carburetor and chase jetting sizes for your setup and elevation. I’ll give the 3 I bought a 4 out of 5 for now.

I bought a Tao Rhino 250 quad a little over a year ago, new. It never ran right - would die once warmed up. I wound up parking it and recently decided to pull the carb to inspect, clean, etc. I noticed the plastic chole lever was broken, so I decided to purchase this new carb to fix that and just to see if the issues were mostly carb related.Install was simple. The only issue was the air intake. Prior hose was a bit to small but I was able to stretch it to seal. Also, the Rhino looks like it has a hose like you'd see on a car with a PVC valve...the new air filter assembly doesn't have a port for the hose. So I just kept the hose connected to the engine and shoved some of the old filter in the opposite end of the hose. The quad seems to run perfect now. So far, no problems at all. I had to adjust the idle screw a bit but that's all.For the price, I don't think you can go wrong
